You can say we "fell" from God's grace if you like but we actually grew up, not down. "Satan" is just the personification of our growing pains.
You and I are diametric opposites on this subject.
You claim that growing up means being independent and leaving the nest.
I would never leave God, throw him away, or cease believing in Him. I believe He wants us in communion with Him.
You claim that Satan got a bad rap, as did humanity being blamed for original sin.
I believe that Satan chose to become independent, thus sealing his fate eternally.
I also believe that humans should never outgrow the need for God.
