The suspected bomber operating in Austin, Texas has blown himself up when confronted by police. BBC
"He's thinking of taking some time to figure out what he wants to do...maybe a [religious] mission trip," his mother wrote.
In the blog called "Defining my Stance", he purportedly describes beliefs that "gay marriage should be illegal", opposition to abortion and why the sex offender registry should be eliminated.
In the blog, he defines himself as "a conservative".
He planted at least four bombs, killing two people - both black - and injuring others.

The Issue
What specifically is the issue?
Is it mental health?
Is there evidence that right-wing mental health is any worse than left wing mental health?
As for who he blew up, I doubt he targeted any specific person. He just was obsessed with either explosions or notoriety. Again, the issue in my mind is mental health and identification of possible rogue terrorists before they act.

There might be, a new study found that right leaning people have enhanced fear centres in the brain. The more you make them feel safe the more left leaning they become.

Re: Another one
Authorities have yet to comment on a suspected motive, but Attorney General Jeff Sessions said "he appears to be partisan".
Did Sessions just go off-script? I thought right-wing terrorists were supposed to be described as "lone wolves" or "mentally disturbed".

Evidently, they can't deny that he was an avid Trump supporter. Partisan is simply a euphemism for "crazy, but one of our crazies!"

Re: Another one
At least the Synagogue shooter wasn’t a Trump supporter. He was still a rabid right-winger, though.
And racist violence against blacks is still a thing in Kentucky

Left wing terroism
Actually in the last 2 years, left wing terrorists have committed more murders than Right wing terrorists. Since 1992, minus the Oklahoma City bombing, Right wing terrorists only committed a few more murders than left.
What I don't like is how we are obsessed with tying these horrific acts to an ideology, and not mental illness. As if to say, see, being a right winger is bad, you're all bad. Especially since the exact opposite logic is applied when a left winger talks about a Islamic terrorist.

Re: Left wing terroism
Disagreements don’t necessarily resolve in your favour.
I note also that by my estimate the few more in your article comes to about 30%. More, the shooting at the Pittsburgh Synagogue added 11 more to the Right Wing toll.
