true that they aren't written down...but what if he started ranting on about such a calamity in teh future...and then it didn't happen...he would look like a fool and be criticized...or what if he was saying it would happen and it did...he would be picked up by government and questioned and harrassed. so maybe he thought of these things, or maybe he never had the predictions...one will never know, except him.
that mars thing sounds liek the star wars programs in the 70's, hehe...hey, it could happen...and then we would be told we can't colonize the planet...i wonder how that would end up.

So why did your pastor not get off his ass and go and intervene. Why is there never any kind of a case made for this crap until after the event? I would think a man of God such as himself would have done everything in his power to get it into the media even if people thought he was crazy. He could have made a huge case for the existence of angels then could he not?
The angel got him inside the pentagon where he saw plans of the instalment of some secret satelites in mars with the purpose of spying the world and dominate it indirectly. that system would obviously be controlled by computers and could also launch missiles from space that no anti missile system could intercept. Are you saying that we,never having met you except here on this forum, should accept that you are incapable of mistakes or self-aggrandizment or even outright lies? It would not matter if we thought you the salt of the Earth evidence is what makes the case or not.If you have none we cannot simply throw our hands up and say well its jazzlover it must be true right? If you have a claim that you cannot back up with evidence then yes, as bitter a pill as it is to swallow ,you will not simply be believed. Let me explain to you why certain people seem to be able to do astro projection.
First of all if you are an evolutionist and believe in astro projection, your an idiot. Now, demons want you to think you have power so they act as you and give you the image but it is not you that is out of your body. The demons(Fallen Angels(THEY ARE SPIRITS REMEMBER)) do evrything possible to get you away from god. People whp practice wich craft dont realize it but they using satan's power. The bible says "Absent from the body, present with the lord!" And that is that! And the rest of the people that think they are doing magic or sycic or astro projectin are insain.

First of all if you are an evolutionist and believe in astro projection, your an idiot. I'd say that if you believe in astral projection anyway, you have a serious problem assessing claims and analyzing evidence. Of course I'd say the same thing about creationists.
And the rest of the people that think they are doing magic or sycic or astro projectin are insain. No, probably just gullible people fooled by a few charismatic hucksters. You know, like fundamentalist Christians.

I'm on the fence as far as Astral Projection goes.
Tried it a few times, had some odd experiences ... but can'tsay that I wasn't asleep and dreaming. I have lucid dreams occasionally so maybe all that 'ritual' is just a way to promote a lucid dream state.

I'd have to ask you what evolutionary niche a beholder fills... maybe that niche where it's really beneficial to have a crapload of eyes on stalks? How about solitary herbivore that evolved in a tall-grass savannah environment? The only assumption needed is that there was some extinct predator that provided a strong enough selection pressure to force the relatively smallish critter to develop "eyes in the back of its head" - as well as functional contragravity.

Can't comment on the experience much myself... had some interesting experiences during meditation, but nothing I'd call astral projection. But, if you're interested in reading up on the subject, I'd highly reccomend "Path Notes of an American Ninja Master" by Glenn Morris. In the meantime, run the microcosmic orbit for a little while, imagine a double of yourself above you, and run the MO in both of you at the same time. (That's the meditation technique that's supposed to have astral projection as an end goal.) Never made it work. I don't think it's possible. I used to try stuff like that. I didn't try astral projection as hard as you, but I did have a really weird experience one night. I was about 19, and I was laying in bed doing the self-hypnotism thing, and that night I was going to try to move the poster on the wall next to my bed. After a minute or two, I heard what sounded like the poster falling. I was instantly consumed with terror, and I curled up in a ball under my blankets and went to sleep that way without ever checking to see if I made the poster moving. In the morning, the poster was dangling by it's bottom left corner. It had been up for weeks, and it chose a very odd moment for falling. I also can't explain the incredible terror that possessed me when it fell. I never tried anything like that again. For whatever it's worth. I'm not making any point. It just happened.

I was about 19, and I was laying in bed doing the self-hypnotism thing As a side note, it was due to my astral projection attempts that I learned those self-hypnosis techniques, which I now use to get to sleep a little faster, or if I'm not really tired. It's great. So at least the whole thing wasn't a total waste.

Interesting you should say that ... for two reasons.
i) In much of the astral projection material that I have readthe'experts' refer to sudden loud noises occurring (usually without any obvious cause) just as the 'projector' is about to leave their body -- distracting them into normal consciousness, and often accompanied by an uneasy feeling. ii) One time when I tried, after a few minutes of meditation,I heard a load bang -- like something kicking the old tea-chest I used as a washing basket (don't ask) -- which brought me back to full consciousness and left me feeling disquieted for a minute or so. Don't know what any of that may mean -- at least anecdotalcorroboration of the 'distraction' comments in the material I have read. I suppose a loud noise rousing one from a deep sleep tends toleave one 'nervous' -- sudden activity after lowered body output. Interesting though, whetever is really happening.
