Faith writes: Anyone here willing to stand up for Jones' right to free speech or is silencing him and undermining Trump the new standard of free speech applauded by you all? I will stand up for the assholes right to free speech but so far no one has censored him and he continues to lie and his audience is too ignorant to even be able to tell he is lying. Being banned from twitter or Facebook is not censorship. The problem is that so many Americans are totally ignorant about the meaning of words. Edited by jar, : appalin spallin

Faith writes: The problem is that a lot of people think what this anonymous insider is doing in "resisting" the President is acceptable these days. Those who work for the Executive branch have a duty to disobey illegal or unconstitutional orders from the President and perhaps even the immoral orders.

I live in Texas.
I live a few miles north of the Rio Grande River. I live in the area called "La Frontera"; the Border. I understand that the idea of a Border Wall along the Rio Grande River is utterly stupid; stupid in every single possible conceivable instance. Only willfully ignorant people support such a Border Wall. And they are so utterly ignorant it seems they cannot even get on Google Earth or Google Maps and actually look at the geography involved. It's essential to understand that those who support a Wall along the Rio Grande River Border are probably not evil people, simply willfully ignorant, delusional and not in touch with reality is any way. They should be pitied. For those poor souls as an attempt to begin their education and journey towards enlightenment, here is a link to the essential information.

Faith writes: It's also the Common People Bashing thread, meaning all us Deplorables, some sixty three million of us. According to Mencken and the rest of the Izquierdo on that thread all of us who voted for Trump are basically just trash to the glorious elites who despise him. No one has suggested those who support il Donald are trash. They are deplorable and deluded and totally divorced from reality and worthy of pity.
Faith writes: Before they send us to the concentration camps I wonder if we could strike a deal to split the country so we could have a chunk of it to ourselves. No one has suggested that the Trump supporters should be sent to the concentration camps, only that they should be ignored.

Did you actually read what you quoted?

Phat writes: What people yearn for nostalgically and what they feel Donald Trump can do for them is to restore power and dignity to America. The problem with this approach is that gaining back that power comes with a tragic cost. The loss of respect and reverence that the rest of the world has for us---as individual people and collectively as a nation. And the quote was all praise for Trumps uncivilized behavior and boorishness. Being a Fascist Boor seldom engenders respect. Edited by jar, : appalin spallin

Too funny.
Why do you think that even if Mexico totally closed their southern border it was stop or even slow the immigration? Are there immigration chains from Africa reaching southern Europe across the Mediterranean? Are there water routes between Central America and South America and the US? Sorry Faith but Trump is simply a fool, willfully ignorant and a conman whose only support is the willfully ignorant who wish to be conned and are totally divorced from reality.

LOL
The big flood is not from the caravans Faith, it is a continuous trickle. It is only the willfully ignorant that think the problem is the caravans.

Remember that in the 60s and 70s all that was needed to cross the border (North or South) in either direction was to say you were a citizen of the destination, if driving produce a drivers license and respond to "Do you have anything to declare?"

Faith writes: It's the Democratic House that's the roadblock to good government, which is a gross understatement. And the evidence to support your assertion is ...? As usual, nothing?

Please provide the evidence that the #METOO movement says you should simply just believe the accusation and if you don't, well, then you're just a sexist pig.

That a phrase has been used is NOT evidence that the #METOO movement claimed believers should simply be believed beyond saying that like ANY claim it should be taken seriously. In the US even #METOO supports deciding guilt though the legal process.
Claiming more than that is simply silly. Edited by jar, : appalin spallin

Plus it really doesn't look like the State is doing anything illegal and so I'm not sure what there is that could be protested. If a group of protestors took over a US airport I imagine that the police would use whatever force was required to move them out of the airport and secure the safety of the airport for travelers.
AbE: We might claim excessive force was used but after May 4, 1970 I'm not sure we would have much moral ground to stand on. Edited by jar, : hit post not preview
