I just saw this headline and don't have time to read through the story right now, but whatever you think of Jones, and he can be a bit of a madman, attempts to silence him are to my mind a harbinger of the kind of totalitarian oppression I see coming down the pike. He's not the only target either.
Um, no. Business owners have been allowed to ban individuals since this country was founded. Freedom of speech is not freedom from consequences. The First Amendment ensures your free speech will not result in you being threatened by a particular government in power. It doesn't say anything about private individuals who may wish to dis-associate themselves from someone who they think is disruptive to their business.
A streaker running across a soccer field is not having their free speech infringed upon when security tackles them and takes them away.
FYI, Fox News banned a guest recently that claimed torture 'worked' in John McCain when he was in captivity:
Fox News Bans Military Guest Who Claimed Torture ‘Worked’ on John McCain
So is Fox News now also part of the 'totalitarian oppression'?
