No.
I knew about the hemoglobin level dropping, which is why I preemptively said assuming I take iron supplement to keep y iron level steady. Beyond blood iron level, or hemoglobin, are there other health effects?
OK, I'll be honest. I've been experimenting with this. Been donating every 2 weeks. Still go to the gym 5-6 times a week. Still benching 120-130% of my body weight. Still running several miles at a time. Don't feel tired during the day at all. Every time I donate, hemoglobin level still holding steady at 13.4 or so. 13 is the minimum allowed. I just went to a check-up and everything is normal.
So, after donating every 2 weeks for 5 months, I'm not feeling any side effect. Since this forum has no shortage of academics, I'm wondering what health problems I'm suppose to encounter with my experiment?
And no, I'm not telling my doctors. This is so far strictly for my curiosity.
If you say the word "gullible" slowly, it sounds like oranges. Go ahead and try it.
