They dropped the investigation, but the Swedish statute of limitations doesn’t run out until August next year. There are calls to reinstate the charges and I hope they do. BBCI’d like him to be extradited to Sweden because it makes him safer from being sent to the U.S. - despite what he says. And because the Swedish charges were what he was really running from.

Trump’s understanding of history seems to be a little weak.He boasted how the Continental Army took over the airports in the American Revolution. And it wasn’t the only historical gaffe. BBCSurprise, surprise there are differing stories about his exit.There were disagreements with Trump so it isn’t surprising. One o& the things Bolton opposed was Trump’s negotiations with the Taliban - that Trump abruptly cancelled.

In another dictatorial move Trump has revoked - he says - California’s waiver, allowing the State to set it’s own standard on vehicle emissions.Four big car manufacturers don’t want it - and Trump has set the DoJ on them for wanting to produce more efficient cars.Whether Trump actually has the power to do this will be tested in the courts.

He’s threatened to destroy the Turkish economy if they do anything. Whether Erdogan will take that seriously is another matter.There’s enough criticism from the GOP that it might make a difference if Impeachment goes through. I doubt that it would be enough to get a conviction, but enough to be embarrassing.Trump was also handed another defeat in court - being President doesn’t put him beyond investigation so his tax returns may not be secret much longer.
