Trump’s long history of pushing wild misinformation about wind turbines

I can, sort of, understand some people (like Faith) supporting some Trump policies. I can even understand someone like here shouting "fake news" about a lot of things.
What I can't understand is someone watching Trump speak and not being terribly embarrassed. He is either very stupid or is, in fact, suffering from dementia. It can't be shouted down by "fake news" because there is no reporting on it or anything you just have to watch him on camera. But the Trump supporters here don't seem to notice how horrible it all is.

What I can't understand is someone watching Trump speak and not being terribly embarrassed. He is either very stupid or is, in fact, suffering from dementia. It is embarrassing and chilling, to know he's the president of the United States, and knowing he is a psychopath, a narcissist, incredibly stupid, and clearly has dementia.
But the Trump supporters here don't seem to notice how horrible it all is. And they cheer as he dismantles everything good about our government. Mass psychosis or mass dementia. The whole planet should be fearful. What if Eleanor Roosevelt had wings? -- Monty Python One important characteristic of a theory is that is has survived repeated attempts to falsify it. I’m getting pretty worried, myself. We have a couple of thousand wind turbines within thirty miles of here, and I’ll just bet that their unamerican terrorist immigrant carcinogenic noise is sneaking into our houses right now!!11!
I’ll keep an eye on the epidemiology reports and keep you all informed. Though those are from the CDC, so they are prolly Liberal Bias Fake News. ‘

The birds may help save you as they are on a concerted effort to bring the towering beasts down. I’ve been talking to them about not slamming into the blades but into the opening of the cowling surrounding the generator itself but since they don’t speak Norwegian it’s difficult to get the concept across. Problem is I don’t speak Norwegian either which makes things doubly difficult.
Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

As for what Faith thinks is fake news; how the heck can I tell? The overall impression is that she uses that to pretend to be rebutting anything she doesn't like.
Like absolutely any thing she is arguing about you'll never get her to be clear about it for one of two reasons:1) She is utterly unable to articulate her thoughts. 2) She may actually have just barely enough understanding in some cases (but few) that if she is clear her argument will be rebutted easily. So why would anyone talk to her? However, some Trump supporters may cry "fake news" to any hints that he has cheated on his taxes, that he is as rich as he claims or that his father wasn't born in Germany since they think that the source of any evidence for such things is corrupt. The threshold for using "fake news" is obviously very, very low. Since the supporters are unable to tolerate the idea he may lie about such things they need a universal fact blocker so they use it and I might understand a little of why they do. But just looking at the man talk doesn't repel them!!! That is amazing to me. That I can't wrap my head around at all.

But just looking at the man talk doesn't repel them!!! That is amazing to me. That I can't wrap my head around at all. That perfectly describes my reaction also. Watching him insult them over and over and they cheer, WTF? (I love the uneducated. Trump, 2016) (Believe me, this tax bill is really going to hurt me. Trump 2017). I watched this happen to my oldest friend, I'm baffled! He was a police detective for fucks sake! He could always spot a lie and a liar. What if Eleanor Roosevelt had wings? -- Monty Python One important characteristic of a theory is that is has survived repeated attempts to falsify it. NosyNed writes: As for what Faith thinks is fake news; how the heck can I tell? Oh, okay, I misunderstood.
So why would anyone talk to her? Good question.
However, some Trump supporters may cry "fake news" to any hints that he has cheated on his taxes,... But there's nothing fake in reporting that Richard A. Neal (D-MA), chairman of the House Ways and Means Committee, requested six years of Trump's tax returns, or in reporting anything that Democrats or Republicans said or think about the request or about Trump's returns themselves. That news (from the New York Times, for example: House Democrat Demands Six Years of Trump Tax Returns From I.R.S.) is completely accurate. There's nothing fake about it.
...that he is as rich as he claims... But there's nothing fake in reporting that Michael Cohen said that Trump consistently overstated the value of his properties to banks while understating it to property tax authorities, or that the Southern District of New York intends to investigate Cohen's accusations.
...or that his father wasn't born in Germany... It is a fact that Fred Trump was born in the Bronx. There's nothing fake about reporting facts. I'm just looking for actual examples of fake news.
The threshold for using "fake news" is obviously very, very low. I don't think they're using a low threshold for fake news but are just calling fake any news they don't like.
Since the supporters are unable to tolerate the idea he may lie about such things they need a universal fact blocker so they use it and I might understand a little of why they do. They don't mind saying things that aren't true if it makes them feel better? A bit of humor - here's Trump trying to talk about the origins of the Mueller investigation:

Generally, Canada has had a "brain drain" problem.
That is, many of the smartest and brightest of us in various areas (doctors, scientists, engineers, programmers...) learn and grow in Canada, but eventually move to the US in chase of higher $$$. It's always something that's referred to and mentioned whenever a report shows a few people leaving Canada and going to the US.It's never been (or turned into) a critically issue or criple any industry or anything like that... - but it certainly does exist and can sometimes rise to the level of "significant to mention." This all seems to have been reversed for certain tech industries somewhat due to the current USA immigration policies.
Canada is becoming a tech hub. Thanks, Donald Trump! quote: So, thanks 'merika! Making Canada Great Again!

Julian Assange Arrested, Faces U.S. Charges Related To 2010 WikiLeaks Releases

Wikileaks was involved in the Russian support for Trump.
We can’t expect Trump to show gratitude - but it is possible that Assange knows something that Trump wants kept under wraps. Personally I hope Assange goes to Sweden to face the charges there.
