Jesus did not oppose the death penalty, as neither did the Father. He's God, nothing He said contradicted the Father. As the Son of God He had all power over the Sabbath which is what he taught.

Your twisted misreadings are really getting tiresome.

I suspect he's pretty sure there is evidence there, but he has to do the investigation to find out for sure and to make the case.

Why do you all always have to smear good people like Barr by twisting everything he says? As I got it he believes there is reason to believe there may be evidence he should investigate. Not that it's a slam dunk but that there is enough there to warrant checking it out. Sheesh.

So Barr assumes that there should be evidence of "spying" (ignoring his attempts at falsely equivocating that with legitimate surveillance prompted by legitimate concerns), even though there is no actual evidence to base that on. He's read the report and other reports. He knows there's reason to believe there was spying on the Trump campaign. What needs investigation is whether that was legal or not.
Yet you routinely castigate the other side for the same thing and less. And you expect us to cut you slack that you unequivocally deny us? Fuck you, you hypocrite! I have no idea what you are referring to. Would it EVER be possible for you to tone down the lefty righteous rage? It's often completely misplaced and I fear you are going to rip a blood vessel. After over two years of investigation into Trump while the press headlined all sorts of fake news alleging he was guilty of all kinds of horrific things including "treason," when in the end he was cleared of the insinuation of "collusion" -- nothing was ever actually charged against him -- I hardly think you are in a position to say anything at all against Barr's reasonable intention to investigate the other side.
You want the investigation to make the case? I thought I was making an innocent comment about the position Barr is in. He believes there is enough evidence to deserve an investigation, and only after that would he be able to judge the case. Perfectly reasonable it seems to me.
We want the same thing. We want to know what Mueller's findings are. But in your case the investigation is over, the report has been submitted and the principal findings have been stated: no collusion by Trump and his campaign. You just refuse to accept it. Most likely when you get to see more of the report it won't say anything different but you'll still be insisting you need to know something you imagine it should have said instead.
We want to know what Trump's tax returns reveal. But it's none of your business. Nobody's tax returns are public business. You just want to dig in them to see if you can fish out something more to complain about. But since he's so wealthy Trump's taxes are being audited perpetually and if there was something there to feed the Left's insatiable appetite to find something criminal in his life we'd have known it by now.
And yet your side keeps trying to keep that secret. Why? Because we know the demand is illegal and futile anyway.
Why are you all so afraid of the truth? Because you already know that the truth will only incriminate you? It's the opposite, we know it would be an illegal fishing expedition that would only be fodder for more fake news that would drag on for years without producing anything. Like the Mueller report that the media used to invent crimes that in the end we know didn't exist though they made a big show of fake legal issues. We believe he has a right to keep his personal business to himself. But I know you just HAVE to be suspicious cuz that's what the Left does.
In the campaign, Trump made a big show that anyone who pleads the Fifth Amendment has something to hide and so is automatically guilty. Those are people who are charged with a crime. He's not been charged with anything, just insinuations and suspiciousness.
Yet when Trump does the same thing and far worse, He's done nothing of the sort. All of Trump's misbehavior is in the minds of Leftists, it's all fake news. There's no legal reason for any of it.
you are completely fine with that, you fucking hypocrite. Do leftists ever stop accusing their opponents of evil things based only on their imagination? You have no cause to attack me like this.
Have you actually read the Bible? Or even just the New Testament? Or even just the Gospels? Are you really that completely ignorant of what Jesus thought of hypocrites? I'm not the hypocrite though. False accusations of the Lefty sort violate more of the Bible than anything even you could dream up to accuse me of. Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Such an ad hominem fails to communicate anything. I wonder if you could be more specific about what I'm being accused of?

That is really not at all clarifying. Nothing more specific than that?

"Unplanned" gets a big premiere and the red carpet treatment, a first for a pro-life film.

Most Christian movies are low budget and not very well made so no great effort at suppression is needed. I think this one may be a big exception. I'm hoping it's as good as the trailer suggests it is. I won't get to see it until it shows up for rent at Amazon. The crowd on the red carpet was strikingly Christian, a lot of God talk; nice to see. For me anyway.

I keep watching You Tube interviews about it. Lots of people think they know "the anti-abortion propaganda" but apparently there are lots of people who thought they knew and didn't know until they saw the movie. Of course you may be the exception and wouldn't learn anything from seeing it.\
I know it all too but I remember the day very well when a pro-life video was shown at my church and I cried for days after seeing it. Even if there's nothing new to me in this one I'll probably cry a lot after seeing it. I don't think people cry about losing a "piece of tissue." Edited by Faith, : No reason given. The question is whether you can maintain that fiction about what it is after seeing this film. My impression is that few can, if any. Of course strong men don't cry -- even if it is a baby?
I'm sure I'd cry for Old Yeller too. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

A daughter, two grandsons, also had an abortion when I was twenty.

I do wonder how many of you could see a living baby that escaped from an abortion and go ahead and kill it.

None of that attitude is in the film. But perhaps you don't really want to know what is in the film

A living baby isn't aborted, it's born. And so would any sane person think, and be unable to consider killing it or just letting it die. But sorry to say that is not the case in many situations where the infant survives an intended abortion.
