What are you talking about? In that time period you're talking about Romanism, though, not Christianity.Whatever it is, are you seriously suggesting it outdid the Russian Revolution, Stalinist murders, the Holocaust, Pol Pot, the Cambodian killing fields, Mao's murders, Rwanda and so on and so forth? (Actually, Rwanda WAS provoked by religion: a Catholic bishop who riled up the Hutus against the Tutsis or was it the other way around, by calling the victim group "cockroaches" over the radio. They had no reason to hate them except for that propaganda campaign. After my one mistaken foray into an argument for a particular date I'm back to expecting that the Rapture will come as an absolute surprise to everyone. It WILL come of course, there is no doubt about that, as part of Jesus' return or seven years before it, either way it will come.

The way we are able to consider dates is by supposing that as the time draws near God will give us a heads-up as is often the case with biblical prophecy. However, He may not.
