Re: Thugzy Unplugged
I feel a definite calling from God to pursue this Thugpreacha social media character.
Hi Phat,
I'm curious as to what has drawn you to the use of the word "Thug" in your name. Implicit in the word Thug is criminality and violence against innocent people, and I'm not sure how this projects any kind of positive image. I'm not trying to disrespect you, but physically you appear to be the kind of person a thug might easily target, as opposed to you being the thug; but even in a metaphorical sense, in what sense do you plan on waylaying the innocent, seizing them, and violently taking something from them by force? Your whole persona here is usually that of gentleness and humility. It just seems a crazy mismatch...
Rob.

Re: Thugzy Unplugged
Hi Faith,
noun
a cruel or vicious ruffian, robber, or murderer.
( sometimes initial capital letter ) one of a former group of professional robbers and murderers in India who strangled their victims.
I'm not going to nitpick semantic definitions with you, this was the first online definition I googled, but criminality is definitely assumed in the name. Maybe you didn't notice, but the other point I made in my question to him was he also physically seems to not have the tough guy look about him either
But my purpose was not to criticize him, I was just trying to understand what he was thinking when he selected the name.

Re: Thugzy Unplugged
...I doubt that you even ARE a Christian...
Even Phat is likely slated for eternal torture by God's command according to you?

Re: Thugzy Unplugged
Tis not I sir. I never would say some shit like that.
Yeah, my bad. I thought I was responding to Faith. Imagine Faith's predicament of being so mind-blowingly judgemental that even Phat/Thugpreacha is on the knife edge of eternal torture, yet so immensely clueless you can't recognize how judgy you are. Kinda sad.

Re: Thugzy Unplugged
There is nothing wrong with being judgmental, in fact Christians are charged with correctly judging all manner of things; we are told we will judge angels.
Hi Faith,
You have this narcissistic tendency of grabbing every thread by the balls and somehow making it all about you. This isn't about you; this is about Phat, and I'm looking forward to hearing from him. If, meanwhile, you want me to pretend with you that you will one day judge giant, winged, invisible fairies I'll play along...but those of us living in reality sadly judge your "child-playing make-believe" mindset.
Yes, we do.
