Looks like we might get temps as low as -20F through Tuesday. Wind chill readings could reach -30 to -40F. Yah, it's getting frigid cold down here too. High today was barely over 70 o with expected low tonight in the real low 40's. It's the cloud cover keeping things cold. Thursday the high won't even get to 70 o with lows expected under 40 o. Time to get my jacket out.

Re: El Nino in the Sierra Nevada
So MUCH rain. Have you seen any big wooden boats with giraffes sticking out the top?

Re: El Nino in the Sierra Nevada
I was a bit concerned you might find offense. You are a delight.

Re: About half way through spring...
Is climate change taking enough sting out of the deep winter for them to survive or are more people providing nuked food? Probably a bit of both? Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

Why would you think this is scary? Just looks like normal weather to me. Nothing unexpected, right? And, yes, good boy doggies are excetionally attuned to the emotions of their masters. It's a co-evolution thing between homo and canis. My old departed Tiger, a pure-breed mutt, despised Jehovah’s Witnesses. Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

It has been a fucking hot 110F (43C) today without a cloud in the sky. Here at 9 PM with the sun down it is still a fucking hot 105 with forecasts of fucking hot for tomorrow and calls for the three-day forecast to be fucking hot, fucking hot and fucking hot. A lingering sense of fucking hot so strong it brought a fucking hot reminder of the fucking hot yet to come through early October. Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.
