Perhaps science will one day explain that mysterious voice that saved my life and that vision of the future I had . as well as countless other miracles that have been reported. But I don' think so. Science can only scratch the surface of reality.

Such things can happen even to atheists. My sister-in-law is a case in point - she immigrated from China and was raised by staunchly Communist parents. She ridiculed Christianity as "ridiculous nonsense". About 12 years after marrying my (agnostic) brother, completely out the blue, according to her, "Jesus started talking to me". She literally heard him talking to her! She instantly become a very devout Christian.

This is a very poor argument. We know nothing at all about the properties of God - as opposed to matter, which we can observed, measured and described by physical laws. So to try and compare the two is rather pointless, I’d say ... a bit like comparing “dark matter” to a bicycle.
