In some cases (at least one that I've heard of), they were invited into this country by the federal government so that their child could receive life-saving and -sustaining medical treatment that doesn't exist in their home country (as I recall in this one, Guatemala). Then without any public announcements about it, they received a letter ordering them out of the country within 33 days. Gee, wasn't it the Republicans accusing Democrats of wanting to run "death panels"? Project much, GOP?

How well you guys can rationalize away the perfidies of the Left. No other President has ever had to endure such treatment. It is not checks and balances, it is pure political obstructionism. There is supposed to be a period of grace given to a President for his first month at least, and all Presidents get that from a civilized opposition, but there is no civility any more, the Left started right out trying to pin any kind of accusation on him that they could dream up, just one false slimy evil low accusation after another. This is really indefensible though apparently you all think it's just fine to mistreat him and his supporters for purely political reasons, and even give this low behavior a noble-sounding Constitution-based name.
