Re: questions on review process, thoroughness, etc.
Exactly, your model doesn't work at either end of the spectrum.
But it does work fantastically well through the whole vast rest of reality which is about all of reality more than your model which doesn't work anywhere.
Yes, we all are ignorant about a lot of things. Only a crackpot would think otherwise.
Hell, the Standard Model is a flop. The Higg's wasn't even a Higg's.
Such a productive well tested ushered in the most prolific scientific and technical advancements in all of human history kind of a flop. Some flop.
And to replace it you have what? Ghosts, gods, demons and devils? Good luck making a smart phone out of that.
And frankly, Captain, I don't think you would know a Higgs boson if it stepped up and punched you in the nose. You probably still think in the popular vernacular that it's supposed to some kind of field of molasses through which particles tredge to gain mass.
You proclaim theory to be known fact over and over again....
Theory. Yes.
You really have no idea what "theory" means do you?
Remember, this is a science thread.
That's a hint, by the way.

The evolving quantum (spacetime) field.. no ghost or goblins there...
quote:
you would know a Higgs boson
They expected either of two masses, 15 (Standard Model - 'we can figure it all out universe') or 35 (multiverses where the constants don't remain the same so 'we can never figure it all out').
They got a 26.....which supports neither model....and no other "particles" have been added to the model since then...

Re: questions on review process, thoroughness, etc.
I hate the term "pond scum" because it is intended to be derogatory...
But you had no problem with my characterization of us as monkeys? Is it because monkeys are soft and cuddly while pond scum is literally crawling with life all gooey slimy and wet?
You like gooey slimy and wet? OK, so do I.
You win. From now on instead of pond scum I'll call it the gooey slimy wet matrix of abundant microscopic life. GSWMAML for short.
See the correction in my post.
every time I go to sleep, you and the rest of the Universe disappear...
I solve that by sleeping with one eye open.

Re: questions on review process, thoroughness, etc.
They expected either of two masses, 15 ...
You been smoking something? You really haven't a clue?
The models expected the Higgs mass in the 100 to 200 GeV range which is why both ATLAS and CMS were looking in that range. It was found at 125 GeV.
Your self serving revisionist history, especially the wildly bad numbers, is horrible here. Are you not the least bit aware of the subject? Or is this another one of those "Don't bother me with facts. I have my own" things you religious nutjobs practice so well?
The evolving quantum (spacetime) field..
Your time to shine. Explain.
Start with how you quantized spacetime. The Bicrossproduct model? q-Deformed spacetime model? One of the various Heisenberg models?
Show your math.
And then, if you would please, explain how a quantum field "evolves" or are you just saying it changes as any other quantum field would with various excitations?
You have an audience. Go.

Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

I expect you brush your teeth religiously every day. Do you religiously wash your hands at certain times, before or after doing something? Do you avoid meat, or certain types of meats? Or fats? Whatever you do that way is your "religion", whether you are spiritual or not.
I have mentioned none of that here....
Indeed, you don't know what my religion is. Buchrishinjewmus? That would mean I am a member of AA.
So please drop the "religion" tags when you are personally attacking me. How about you "spiritual" nuts?

Your Message 94
quote:
I am not a Christian. I am a Buchrishinjewmus
Indeed, you don't know what my religion is. Buchrishinjewmus? That would mean I am a member of AA.
You miss the last few meetings? Fall off the wagon again? Can't remember your own religion?
Can you remember your name, Cass? If not just say so I'll remind you.
I stand corrected. Been a long time since I thought about that....
You really need to get back to those meetings.
I haven't mentioned "religion" at all except to say spiritually there are gross errors.
Do I need to quote the relevant part of your paper? To what do you think a universal cosmic intelligence refers? In these parts (planet Earth) that's religion.
Explain.
That is why I wrote the paper.
OK, you're a newbie. Forum rules.

This is a science thread, so you say something in English (you do remember that don't you? How many of those meetings did you miss? ) and we get to rip it apart. Your paper is noted as reference, no problem, but we will not discuss this with a paper. We will, if you go along, discuss this with Captcass.
So, Captain "Fall off the Wagon" Crackpot, how did you quantize spacetime and explain how your quantum (spacetime) field "evolves"?
Shouldn't be too terribly hard to explain. You did write the paper on this, right? You do remember writing the paper? I could give you a URL reference if you want.

Re: questions on review process, thoroughness, etc.

Certainly not "religion". All religions contain concepts of spirituality, but spirituality does not contain concepts of religion. Many concepts, correct or incorrect, in religion, such as the moral codes, derive from human perceptions of what the spiritual nature of the universe implies and therefore "requires". But it does work the other way around.
quote:
use links as supporting references
Hence, the link to my paper.
Really, do you read your own stuff? Let's see, how many personal insults and attacks against me, way beyond any legitimate discussion of anything, appear in your last posts? And where are the answers to any question I have posited here?
Just what exactly does this say about your mental state? Are you sitting there giggling with glee that you can be so inventively insulting and demeaning and come up with such pearls of hate and derision?
Are you inferring in print that I am an alcoholic? Have you heard of libel? Be careful where you tread, friend....
Like I said, there are people studying people like you to figure out just what goes wrong with peoples' sense of decency online.
No one like the spiritless to spit out hate and violence against those they fail to see as kin. They are always only out for #1 in what they see as a dog-eat-dog world. Always such anger, hate and vitriol.... so sad, really. Pitiable...
Normally I wouldn't take it so personally, but my mother passed yesterday and, well,....................

Re: questions on review process, thoroughness, etc.
I have 20K visitors a year I greet and talk to in my museum each year. My point is that when I speak to them, I don't know what they are dealing with. They may have lost a loved one, human or pet, might have lost their home (we had 25K of those in the last two years due to the fires), their child might just have been diagnosed with cancer or, if they are online contacts, maybe they have the same sort of problems......
For this reason I always try to be civil with each and every one, even the grumps.
So, thank for the condolences, but I was just making a point about how we treat each other. My mother did pass, but in 1995. But I DO still feel the loss....

wrong is wrong, math is not up for voting.
You are getting close to understanding why my formula is correct ...
Just to be clear, what I am getting more than "close to understanding," is knowing that your formula is wrong. Period.
As such it cannot be used to make conclusions.
... and has been accepted by everyone else reviewing the paper, now over 300....
Curiously, I find it instructive that you make no effort to show your formula is valid by challenging my math, but instead rely on a purported "review" that is nothing but hearsay and assumption.
In other words it seems you cannot show my math is wrong. BS in → BS out.
Which is no surprise.
So tell me, did your math class at the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy discuss infinity?
quote:
Core Curriculum
This core curriculum has several components (specific courses meeting these requirements are identified later in the course description section):
  • Mathematics
  • Science
  • English
  • Leadership and Ethics
  • Comparative Literature and History
  • Naval Science
  • Physical Education and Ship’s Medicine
  • Internship
  • Sea Year
  • Major Programs
Programs
Midshipmen select their major course of study from among five programs:
  • Marine Transportation - A program combining nautical science and maritime business management.
  • Maritime Logistics and Security - A program combining nautical science and logistics and security management.
  • Marine Engineering - An engineering program focused on shipboard engineering operations.
  • Marine Engineering Systems - An engineering program emphasizing marine engineering design. Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) Commission of ABET, ABET | ABET Accreditation
  • Marine Engineering and Shipyard Management - A program based on a marine engineering core and emphasizing the management of shipyards and other large engineering endeavors. Accredited by the Engineering Accreditation Commission (EAC) Commission of ABET, ABET | ABET Accreditation
Mathematics
Because mathematics is so important to nearly every area of study at the Academy, all entering midshipmen take an examination administered by the department. Those students who are found to be weaker in math are placed in an extended Calculus 1 course. The extended Calculus 1 provides students with an extra hour of math instruction per week.
Now I'm not criticizing your education, I'm just saying it was not what would be enough for a BS in Math, so maybe you could contact one of your math professors regarding my critique of your formula that any constant times infinity is de facto infinity.
Enjoy
