First new volume in 3 years? Not a lot going on in cosmology these days?
... 2 days ago the Journal of Cosmology began its first new volume in 3 years....

New submissions go into existing relevant volumes. Sorry if you don't care for the subjects they cover, but as I noted earlier, these things need discussion and airing.
For instance, even though the government has declassified and shown UAP (UFO) objects flying alongside our fighters, that topic can not be discussed in any journal. Not even the JofC. Some of the scientists published in the JofC are doing coordinated research on how they communicate and how they are making quantum leaps to get here and maneuver like they do. But not a single one of them will even try to put anything in any journal on that subject. Yet we, the people of planet Earth, should be openly doing this.... It is idiotic to just stare at them and say, "duh". In the Editors' opinion my model warranted a new volume, even though they initially had it in the MECO volume as it uses MECOs. I didn't say that. I was surprised at how thin the coverage is.

Source and evidence please.

Not sure how you can do research on something of which there is only supposed photos and video of. Without having the actual subject available all you have is supposition and wild ass guesses.Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

Sorry for the assumption. My bad.
As far as I can tell, most of the scientists are also published in the mainstream journals on other subjects. The journal covers many of the non-mainstream topics they cannot get into the other journals but want to discuss. But, no UAP's!

You're missing the point. Why only one new volume in three years? When I was at university forty years ago the library had aisles and aisles of stacks and stacks of volumes and volumes of abstracts of scientific papers. Literally tons of abstracts. Why does your journal only have enough material for one volume in three years?
The journal covers many of the non-mainstream topics they cannot get into the other journals but want to discuss.

All that is, is evidence of UAP's. UAP stands for "unidentified aerial phenomenon" . There is no evidence that the phenomena is from another planet or aliens. I guess it could be, but there is no evidence it is. People have been seeing UAP's and UFO's for a very long time. As of yet there has been no evidence that they are some sort of alien craft. So far all that the UFO videos and pictures tell us is that there are UFO's. Nothing more.
I see Dr. Schild couldn't get any publisher to touch this book. All that book seems to be is a sort of mental masturbation for the true believers. Here is my favorite lines from a review of the book. quote: quote: I am not impressed with self published scientific booksFacts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts "God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

I would say they simply don't get that number of submissions on the topics they cover...

So there isn't really that much that the mainstream journals refuse to cover.

quote:OK. You are entitled to your opinion. My point was that a lot of serious scientists are looking at these things. I have no problem with them publishing their own papers in books or anywhere else. quote:I had a long, 2 hour, experience with one about 300' in diameter that came within 1/4 mile when I was 16. It maneuvered in physically impossible fashions. It made Newsday the next day as so many people in Patchogue, a town to the east of where I was, saw it. No one on this planet could possible keep such technology a secret. Too many people would be involved.

No. There is a lot they do not cover.
In cosmology, the mainstream journals will not publish anything that contradicts BB and expanding universe theories. They serve those theories like they are already proven, just as many here take them as gospel truth. It is also very difficult to get into the mainstream journals, hence the advent of vixra.org, a simple repository for new papers on all kinds of subjects..... This is a great, healthy environment that encourages the development of new ideas....

No, Faith, not about UFOs, I was just using them as an example. I don't mean to get into all of that.

quote: lol. I forgot the real biggie that no journal in any discipline will publish any paper that even mentions a creator or any spiritual reference. Even the JofC had me edit out the "faith" and other such terms from my paper you will find in my vixra version, even though they have 2 volumes on Astro-Theology.
