Faith writes: Yeah but it doesn't, it's purely in the imagination of his opponents. If you saw a white person telling a black guy that he should go back to Africa where he came from, would you think that was racist? Why would it be any different when Trump says the same thing to hispanic women?

Faith writes: YOU are the one interested in their color, Trump is not, the Republicans are not. Bullshit. If that was the case they wouldn't be hyperfocused on the brown skinned immigrants.
nd there is no evidence of the Left's weird ascription of racism or white supremacy to Trump, who has denounced both many times, yet somehow what's in Leftist heads is taken for the reality instead of the actual reality. This is of course insanity but this will not be admitted on the Left. Trump told hispanic women to go back to the country they came from. This is one of the oldest racist tropes there is.

Faith writes: Telling a woman to go back home is about her unfounded complaints about this country when her own original country is a hellhole of crime and corruption, it has nothijg to do with her skin color; Even for those who were born here in the US?

Faith writes: Who cares? His complaint was about her anti-Americanism, not her race. Then Trump should have gone back to Germany instead of complaining about America during his campaign. Did that happen?

RAZD writes: That'll put a damper on his campaign, although it is not that serious and there have been presidents with more medical issues, it raises a question again, of age. Ageism? Bernie needs to go to Dick Cheney's doctor. That dude is still kickin' around, which amazes me.

AZPaul3 writes: I would at this point prefer Pocahontas as president, but if VP to Bernie or Biden that would be ok. As bad as it sounds, an old white dude isn't the best candidate for Dems this time around. Warren can trade barbs with the best of them, is passionate, and has a firm grasp of policy. For VP, she needs a centrist that can attract votes in rural districts. A Boston liberal teaming up with a Vermont or Baltimore liberal isn't the best match. They do love the Bern in the midwest, but two East coast accents in one campaign might be too much.

DrJones writes: Seriously with president starfucker in office are republicans really trying to make a case that adultery is bad? Why not? They don't seem to have any qualms about accusing Joe Biden of firing a prosecutor to protect his son. It seems Il Donald forgot he did that very thing when he fired James Comey.

It might be a better idea to bring in people who are not currently in federal seats.

RAZD writes: Personally I think Bernie is the best chance for this due to his army and the "our revolution" crowd (i would've said "our evolution" - because it is change from within not slash and burn). A lot of the blue wave in 2018 was from this crowd (and spin-offs like Brand New Congress) and from Working Families Party. This puts fresh blood into congress. Pelosi and Schumer and Perez may have to watch their backs if a lot more progressives get elected. I read an interesting article the other day about a political strategist who thinks there are no swing voters. There are Trump voters and Not-Trump voters, and they have already made up their mind. What will decide the election is who gets more people off their couch and to the polls. From what I have seen, Bernie may be the best candidate to excite the electorate, despite him being an old frumpy white dude. An Unsettling New Theory: There Is No Swing Voter - POLITICO

NosyNed writes: Given that their facts are correct I'd have to agree that The Bern isn't the guy I'd want in the oval office. I agree. I think Bernie has some good ideas, but he fails to see that voters aren't ready to do a 180 in a single year. These are goals that have to worked towards over decades, step by step. It took us a generation to get us into the health care mess we find ourselves in, and it will probably take a generation to get out. Also, a lot of Bernie's claims are equivalent to Trump's boast that Mexico was going to pay for a border wall. We can appreciate the aspiration, but we all know it isn't going to happen. The Mexican economy had as much to worry about from Trump's boast as the US economy has to worry about Bernie's claims of nationalizing industry.

Diomedes writes: Elizabeth Warren ends presidential bid Warren is still going to be a driving force in the Senate, and many of us are thankful for that. However, I am a bit bummed that I won't get my dream team of a Warren-Frank ticket. The combined wit of Elizabeth and Barney would have been unstoppable.
