Deficits are due to spending more than you bring in. Obviously, one of the solutions is to bring in more. Cutting taxes for the rich is just as much to blame for the deficit as it is Social Security and Medicare that take care of the middle class. It is interesting that you only want to attack the programs made for the middle class instead of the massive tax cuts for the rich. That doesn't even begin to touch on subsidies for rich oil companies and overspending on defense.
