I'm addicted to the "conversation," the back-and-forth, on topics that interest me, which I don't find anywhere else, even though here it is toxic as you say.

Oh don't give me the condescending pedantic lecture. I only occasionally get the consuming need as it were to excoriate anybody. I've been pretty good I thought, but Percy has been on my case for no good reason and one of my worst enemies here wrote a whole post about me that I could have done without, which should have earned him a suspension but it won't. No, I'll be the one to get the punishment, more words removed from my vocabulary until I can't say anything at all I guess, for reacting to crap like that. And I DO NOT need your lecture. What eye operation did you have? I hope you are doing well with it whatever it was.

That's all good. Cataract surgery is extremely quick and you just have to be a bit careful for a week or so afterward. I had mine done a year ago summer and now I need some kind of correction because they're getting fogged up, which happens to some. It's supposed to be a really quick procedure though and they do it while you're sitting in the chair rather than in surgery.I know what you mean about not being able to stay away though. I really only have one good eye myself and I can only see out of a small part of it too.
