Who do you think I am?

I had my eye operation today, and here i am with one good eye pecking at the keys to respond to another EvC post. Ive never thought of leaving for good--more likely I just try and make myself take breaks so as to counteract the social media addiction that is fed here. So I ask myself what I like about EvC. Let me count the ways.

Percys format and ease of use make this forum software second to none. (Note that I've seen come anywhere close) Tweets just don't do it for me. I think that I and others here are old fashioned in that regard.

Familiarity. No member is indispensable and no matter who leaves, it won't change a thing. My advice? Take some time for yourself---go and do something productive, and have a good life. Stop by home once in a while and fight it out with the family for a week or so, then leave again. And again.

This One.So far no complications, except for the formation of cataracts which are inevitable. I will likely have those removed next year.What's odd is that I was planning on a sabbatical from EvC while I healed, but even with one good eye, i can't stay away.
