I did a spreadsheet that got rid of the "winner-take-all" rule for every state. Instead each state's electors were apportioned to the popular voting in each state. For the 2016 election it came to 257 for the Democrats, 250 for the Republicans, 18 for the Libertarians and 13 for the other parties. I think if neither side gets the majority it goes to the House? The winner-take-all was not the way it started out, so we could go back to apportioning without an amendment.

As a sidenote, California would have split 34 D, 17R and others - meaning that campaigning in CA for Republicans is worthwhile, and the so-called fly-over states also now need D campaigning as well.

Trump has done absolutely NOTHING wrong, NOTHING. People do not know how to read the transcript of that phone call, as usual they let the Left tell them that ordinary communications are wrongdoing. This is the fundamental travesty of the whole partisan war that has been waged against Trump since before he was elected. But Ramoss, in Message 3932 above, lays it out clearly:
He said he didn't do anything wrong, but never the less, the transcript showed he broke a number of laws. Since Biden was running for president, this is directly asking a foreign power to interfere with the american election, and since he was witholding aid from the ukraine at the time, the following laws were broken 18 U.S. Code 872: Extortion by officers or employees of the United States. and 18 U.S. Code 610, which covers that crime rather clearly under the title: Coercion of political activity. The refusal to provide papers after subpoenas violated 2 U.S. Code 192, Refusal of witness to testify or produce papers, And that isn't all. So instead it's Faith that has to learn how to read some more and understand it.

And, of course, we saw how this Cowardly Bully of a Miserable Wretch of a Human also attacked a young 16-year old autistic girl who just wants the world to survive... Is it any wonder he can separate desperate, fragile, vulnerable families and cage children? This man is a monster. Consider also the fake picture his loyal staff had made with his approval of his face pasted over Greta's in the faked Person Of The Year cover, revealing his very cowardly infantile narcissistic little mind. east/west versus flyover states
I've seen many argue that getting rid of the electoral college would make California and New York too powerful. This is ignorant. Currently Republican voters in CA, NY and others are ignored because of the Electoral College/Winner Take All scheme. But a change to a Popular vote would give them a vote that gets counted. Similarly a vote by a Democrat in Wyoming would get counted. Changing to a Popular vote gives each and every voter 1 vote.
