Re: Pete Buttigieg on the Republicans and Trumpism
Why don't you just admit you made a mistake.

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

Why don't you recommend yourself for suspension, or just go away on your own, as punishment for being an all-around *******?

Yes, we know that's your usual level of scholarship.

Buttigieg dropped out of the race for lack of support.

You are perhaps thinking of Beto O'Rourke?

And his comments are ridiculous considering that his entire political worldview is ridiculous.

You are perhaps thinking of Donald Trump?

Your conscience called. It's lonely.

I just discovered last night that I was wrong, it's not Buttigieg, it's Beto O'Rourke who dropped out. Sorry for the *******.

One young white guy confused for another
Do I get an apology?

You may have noticed I did suggest you had him confused with another candidate.

Good to see you admit you were wrong. If you had just listened to what people were telling you here, you could have saved yourslef a lot of grief.

Re: One young white guy confused for another
I found that place where Buttigeig says he is dropping out of a race, and that's the headline I thought I saw. I had no reason to think I'd confused him with someone else. But later I saw it from a different angle and remembered I'd heard it was O Rourke.

I did say I'm sorry. I don't understand, however, why you have to be so unpleasant about it.

Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

I found that place where Buttigeig says he is dropping out of a race, and that's the headline I thought I saw.

Curiously all I could find was him dropping out from DNC chairman race.

search: butigieg drops out

So Bernie still polls beating Trumpty on FOX
quote:
Biden, Sanders, Warren beat Trump, according to new Fox News poll

By Matthew Segura |

Updated: Mon 12:20 PM, Nov 04, 2019

MONROE, La. (KNOE) - A new Fox News poll has former Vice President Joe Biden far ahead of President Donald Trump in a hypothetical 2020 matchup.

The poll, which was released on Nov. 3, shows Biden ahead of Trump by 12 points.

51% of respondents said they would choose Biden if they election were held today. 39% said they would choose Trump. 5% said other, 4% said they didn't know, and 2% said they wouldn't vote. Biden vs. Trump was the only hypothetical matchup in which Trump lost points. In all other matchups, he polled at 41%.

Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders also hold leads over Trump in the latest Fox News poll, albeit slightly smaller ones.

49% of respondents said they would choose Sanders. 41% said they would choose Trump. 5% said other, 4% said they didn't know, and 1% said they wouldn't vote.

46% of respondents said they would choose Warren. 41% said they would choose Trump. 7% said other, 4% said they didn't know, and 2% said they wouldn't vote.

A couple of hypothetical matchups send more voters to a third-party candidate or keep them home entirely.

A matchup between Pete Buttigieg and President Trump is a toss-up, with both polling at 41%.

In a hypothetical rematch between Trump and Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump in 2016, 43% of respondents said they would choose Clinton and 41% said they would choose Trump. These numbers are within the poll's margin of error. 9% said other, 3% said they didn't know, and 5% said they wouldn't vote.

The poll did not ask respondents about other candidates.

It will be interesting to see if the impeachment hearing changed any minds.

Enjoy

A Washington Post poll from Jan 20 to 23 has Sanders strong ahainst Trump
Sanders did better than the rest among 1004 adults and essentially tied among the 880 that were registered voters .

Among all adults Sanders beat Trump 52 to 44 while Biden was 51 to 44 over Trump. Buttigieg was up 1.

Registered voters had Biden up 50 to 46 and Sanders up 49 to 47. Buttigieg was down 48 to 45. Bloomberg was up 49 to 46. Warren was tied with Trump 48 to 48. Only Biden and Bloomberg did slightly better than Sanders.

Bloomberg was roughly the same as Sanders among the 1004 polled before the poll looks at just the 880 registered to vote. 51 to 43 over Trump. But only Sanders reached 52 percent support.

Sanders is electable in 2020 regardless of what else you think of him.

Hillary Clinton and the DNC got their way in 2016 because they were a trusted echo chamber by Democratic primary voters. But was it wise to give the DNC the keys to the general election to take on Trump. Question asked.

Only Sanders beats Trump in the latest Emerson poll
The 3 most recent polls are the above Washington Post ABC poll and a FOX poll and the Emerson poll.

Emerson first. Biden and Warren are tied 50 to 50 in a hypothetical general election race against Trump. Buttigieg looses but Sanders leads Trump 51 to 49. So much for DNC propaganda that claims Sanders is the worst choice for the general election when such great candidates like Hillary Clinton and Joe Biden are choices or possible choices during the convention.

Fox has Biden up by 8 over Trump while Sanders is up 48 to 42 . Even Buttigieg is up 4 in the Fox poll. Warren is up 5. Bloomberg is up 9.

Sanders beats Trump in the 3 most recent general election polls and Biden can't say that

See Real Clear for this situation early Wednesday morning and 5 days before the Feb 3 Iowa decision.
