God kills as justice/judgment, which unfortunately includes children and the unborn. God wiped out so many of His own people for their false worship that the children die too, it's part of the judgment of God. leaving the children alive would be even worse for them than killing them. I simply accept that God is God and that He is right in all His judgments, which I cannot understand myself. In my mind it seems simple and crystal clear. God is sending His judgement to us. God's judgement includes killing children, babies, and the unborn and all you have to say about it is:
He is right in all His judgments What I and others in this thread have to say about it is
That's bullshit. Killing children, babies and the unborn is immoral and abhorrent. (paraphrased) If I have misrepresented you, and you also condemn killing children, babies and the unborn for other peoples' sins, I will apologize publicly...and very sincerely. If I am not misrepresenting you, please stop saying that I am!
How can I LIKE this or even "support" it? So to clear this up once and for all, do you NOT support God killing David and Bathsheba's baby because they had sex and sinned? Or do you support God killing a baby as a judgement for his parent's sin? You could clear this up right now, easily. "...heck is a small price to pay for the truth"

I accept everything God does as right, I don't "support" it, I accept it even when I cry over it and ask Him to have mercy on us. He's God, I'm not, we're npt.

Yes He may be judging me for something.
I had to make a fresh pot of coffee and start all over. I put down layers of paper towels which are soaking up the spilled coffee. I'll have spray it with carpet clearer later. No matter what I do it will leave a stain, but probably not very visible because it's one of those tough fiber things of a dark color that's almost impossible to describe. Brown? Blue? Gray? Green? All of the above? Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Edited by Faith, : No reason given. Edited by Faith, : No reason given.

Faith writes: I accept everything God does as right, I don't "support" it, I accept it even when I cry over it and ask Him to have mercy on us. He's God, I'm not, we're npt. Then you are as deplorable as the God you market and have turned away from truth and honesty and reality to worship evil.

He's God, you're not, and someday you are going to answer to Him for such evil comments as that.

I accept everything God does as right So...I'm just trying to be crystal clear here...According to you it is right to kill a child, infant or unborn if the God of the Bible does it? I don't want to put words in your mouth. But it was the "right" thing for God to kill David and Bathsheba's infant baby for his parents' sin? "...heck is a small price to pay for the truth"

Thankfully He washes away all of our stains (or gives us enough strength to clean the kitchen) but I think I know where you are going here. You are reaffirming that you believe (and know) that God is never wrong and you get angry at these guys for daring to show (prove or argue) that He is in fact wrong on several occasions within the books(of the Bible). Hey, I'm with you there. God is God no matter what anyone says and He is and will be the final arbitrator whether or not they mock Him, ignore Him, or attempt to indict Him. (silly humans, I know )
Aussie knows organized religion well and has seen much hypocrisy. What we might ask him is what he would do if he found out that Jesus was actually real apart, before, and beyond the book. What would he hope Jesus to actually be? Would he have issues with God? (If so, that would be encouraging. I think that deep down we all have issues with religion and the authoritarianism we were taught. ) I can understand people who reject what they were indoctrinated with and with organized religion in general. I want to know how they would respond if Jesus were God and were actually in front of them? I indirectly asked you a question in the previous post to Faith. You may want to know what I would do were Jesus real and to appear before me. First, let's assume for argument's sake that when this apparition appeared, we instinctively knew it was Jesus and not some imposter) I can honestly say I would be scared. I would perhaps question my sanity. And then I would basically go from there and react to the actions of Jesus at that point.
Flipping the question, what would I do if i suddenly became aware and certain that no Gods existed and that Jesus was simply a character in a book? Im not sure what I would feel. I would be depressed. Perhaps a bit angry..(at who, I dunno). And perhaps I would reevaluate my daily actions and responsibilities at that point. Oh and I would know that I would likely never exist beyond the life I have here. The only way I know to drive out evil from the country is by the constructive method of filling it with good.Calvin Coolidge "A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " As the fear of God is the beginning of wisdom, so the denial of God is the height of foolishness.-RC Sproul, Essential Truths of the Christian Faith - You can safely assume that you've created God in your own image when it turns out that God hates all the same people you do. Don't ask me to judge the particular instances of what God does. It's enough for me to say that everything He does is right, I'm not going to get into making a judgment about every act of God's. Yes, every act of God's is right, you aren't going to get me to say anything more specific than that, and the only reason you want to is so you can pin something on me that is misleading when put that way.

God does not love everybody. People who refuse to listen to Him and never repent of it, the incorrigible wicked. God does hate some people.
