Um sure a mask can protect you from a sneeze from an infected person. But the amount of time booger droplets stay in the air is small. And when you hear someone coughing or sneezing you run the other way. Thing is it would be better for the infected person to wear the mask so that everything around the infected person doesn't get covered by virus infested mucus, you touch that then rub your eye and your infected and your mask dint do you any good.That being said for this reason my country has decreed that you have to cover your mouth and nose with something when going shopping. Scarf, mask, bandanna, doesn't matter as long as it keeps your virus infested mucus from going everywhere. They don't let you in otherwise. You also get free gloves in front of shops and every cart is sanitised.Just a few days ago we implemented some draconian movement regulations. Basically you cant go out of your county if its not for a good reason. Job, taking care of your grandparents you know sensible things, dunno how a cop would check your reason i think its manly for show to keep people home. but i still don't like it We got a linear growth of infections. By an average of 40 per day. Some days more some days less. We tested about 1,2 % of our population. We have 900 infected, and 17 dead.

We went kind of overboard but we cant argue with the results. 27.109 tests, 1,35% of the population, 977 confirmed cases, , 22 deaths, 109 hospitalised of that 31 in intensive care. While just over our western borer Italy has its hottest spot of the virus. While our number of infected grows at an average of 40 per day. Italy has exponential growth.I think the greatest contribution to our low numbers is that you cant go shopping whiteout a mask, and gloves. Cause lets face it the sick and healthy need to shop for necessities. Pensioners even got their own time to shop, 8 to 10 in the morning, and i think some time in the evening.But we also have dicks that don't listen as evident by the 600 warnings issued by the police for not adhering to quarantine rules. No actual fines or prison sentences that i'm aware of.

Im no doctor but i doubt it, it might have a slight beneficial impact as your antibody count would be higher when you got the corona virus. If you got it in roughly 14 days after getting the shot.As fare as i understand is that the problem with corona is your own body overreacting. When you get a virus like the flue the body essentially carpet bombs everything around an infected cell, its why you get a sore throat. With corona it basically damages your lung capacity too much and you die. But the body does not do this with white blood cells, but proteins like CRP. Again not a doctor. So take this with a spoon of salt.

Lets wait a few weeks and the US will be nr 1 per capita too.
