Do you think that the answers already exist and are simply waiting to be "discovered" by humanity or do you believe that as we learn we ourselves create the answers through critical thinking?
As I just said in another thread a minute ago, there are no magical "answers" floating around out there waiting to be discovered. Answers are the result of questions and questions are the result of human thinking.
(It doesn't have to be critical thinking. Critical thinking is just more likely to come up with better questions.)
Your answer will further explain your world view.
You should stop trying to tie my worldview (or anybody else's) up in a neat little package.
Regarding the creation of Adam, please consider this possibility: God took the DNA (described as "dust/clay" in Genesis 2:7) of a pre-existing creature (a Homo sapien without a soul) and from it created Adam, after which God placed Adam in the Garden of Eden. separated from the rest of creation. This may have happened about 10,000 years ago, because that is about the time history records great advances in civilization and inventions ...
Or some (biological) alien may have tweaked a pre-existing (evolved) creature's DNA to make it sapient (in a process having nothing whatever to do with "souls").
