I was looking at old accounts when I rediscovered this account: Mr. Ex Nihilo:And I realized just how much time had passed. In the profile it said Member (Idle past 5086 days). That's nearly 14 years that went by.
I just wanted to note if I had offended anyone back then I do hope you accept my apologies. These conversations are so old I actually cannot remember some of the topics I discussed.
I am not sure if he is still on here. But I wanted to thank NosyNed for helping me to understand some of the finer nuances of evolution. His friendly advice was very appreciated.
I recall many years ago I was using to Movie Rainman, specifically part about the "I get my boxing shorts at K-Mart." and "K-Mart sucks" for really cheap laughs. And in hind-sight it was not appropriate. In the movie it was humorous. But I should never use these examples in serious debates just for shock-value. These individuals struggle with so many issues and they deserve our respect.
Since the time of posting that back then I've read up on Temple Grandin and am very inspired by her.
So to leave a positive inspiration regarding autism I will leave a link for her web page. Welcome to Temple Grandin's Official Autism Website

Thank you vimesey.
Back when I was writing some things, my oldest boy was diagnosed with autism too. He also suffers from epilepsy. I think part of my response back then was me venting out of anger for what my son was going through.
It's still not an excuse. He's 23 now and struggles with multiple issues.
We are looking at more natural solutions to assist him.
mom sent me this article and we are considering it

Thank you, a servant of Christ.
I had not heard of this before. May I ask if this treatment I linked below is what you are referring to?
Ketamine may hold potential as treatment for autism and Tourette's

Thank you. I had not heard of that before. I had read about neuroplasticity before. But I did not realize there were treatments to increase this.
