That is the fake news the trump administration is trying to push. It's a non-issue, because it's be hashed, rehashed, examined, reexamined, and found to be nothing.

Well, andrew sullivan is not particularly unbiased, so I am not going to accept anything he says.
However, when it comes to Tara Reede,
1) Her story constantly changed over time
2) The physical location the alleged assault occurred does not match her story
3) Multiple people said she asked them to lie about what she initially told them.
There are other things, but those three things alone discredit her as a valid person for accusations.

Re: The enemy of my enemy IS my friend?
There is a caveat though, I suppose. And that is who Biden's team selects as his running mate. Because much like it was Cheney running the White House and not George Bush, that could conceivably happen. That might be the only thing to change this swing voter's mind.
Do you think it's time for Biden's team to officially name his running mate? Trump named Pence on 7-15-16. Hillary named Kaine on 7-22-16. The election that year was on November 8th, this year it will be November 3rd, so that's five days less from this date this year versus that year, to understand how that person will affect the "home stretch" in determining who the next president will be.
There's a better chance that this VP nominee WILL be running the White House either as president or behind-the-scenes fill in concerning Biden's age alone. I think it's time for the voters and analyzers to know who it is NOW.
The news media never criticizes or questions Biden about anything. Wouldn't it be nice if they'd pressure him to get this done? If he can't make this decision, how effective will he make time-sensitive decisions as president?

I was responding to the remark about President Obama being the worst President ever. I disagreed with that.
Here's an example of a worse President:
Lyndon Johnson oversaw the greatest failure of American domestic policy, the "Great Society" . . . cities rotting from Cabrini-Green to Pruitt-Igoe . . . long hot summers . . . Watts and LA burning . . . 101st Airborne sent to Detroit . . . The Moynihan Report . . . guns and butter . . . inflation ignited . . . chickens coming home to roost at the 1968 Democrat convention . . .
Lyndon Johnson oversaw the greatest failure of American foreign policy . . . Tonkin Gulf Resolution . . . Pleiku . . . Khe Sanh . . . The Pentagon Papers . . . Tet . . .
Lyndon Johnson was personally corrupt . . . Box 13 in Jim Wells County . . . cash in paper bags from businessmen "buying ads" on his wife's radio and TV stations . . . Bobby Baker . . . LBJ Ranch acquired on a "government salary" . . . Abe Fortas and the 1948 Senatorial primary . . .
By the way, if you're trying to convince people not to vote for President Trump, I'll give you a tip: don't call them idiots for having the temerity to disagree with you!

All I've said is it will "will keep popping up". Do you disagree?

That, of course, is the whole point. As Sullivan put it
quote:
By Biden’s own standards, he’s guilty as charged. Reade claims Biden never got affirmative consent from her, and she feels and believes he assaulted her. He never got affirmative consent for countless handsy moves over the decades that unsettled some of the recipients of such affection. End of story. By Biden’s own logic, it is irrelevant that he didn’t mean to harm or discomfit anyone, that Reade’s story may have changed over time, that she might have mixed motives, that she has a record...

The impeachment was a bad tactical move, it just highlighted the possibility that there was something about the Biden family's business dealings that they didn't want publicized.

Re: The enemy of my enemy IS my friend?
He boxed himself in promising to have a female VP nominee. Not that I'm against women running for office! But with all the urban unrest he will also be pressured to nominate a person of color.
That's fine, as far as it goes, but he also has the problem that he would be by far the oldest and frailest President-elect, older on inauguration day 2021 than President Reagan was when he left office!
So Mr. Biden has to pick a running mate with experience and connections to step into his place if he should follow in Yuri Andropov's footsteps.
The selection of a running mate is said to be the first big decision of any (would-be) Presidency. There's a strong possibility that he's made a good decision impossible to make.

Re: The enemy of my enemy IS my friend?
Biden could appoint an amoeba as VP, and if that amoeba ended up in charge, it would still do a better job of leading your country than Trump could possibly hope to do, with Washington and Lincoln pointing loaded guns at his head, threatening to shoot him if he so much as opened his mouth.

Could there be any greater conceit, than for someone to believe that the universe has to be simple enough for them to be able to understand it ?

But could Mr. Biden shoot that amoeba on 5th Avenue and not lose voters?

They're not idiots for having the temerity to disagree. They're idiots for considering Trump.
