Not going to happen.The chinese are too integral to the world's function.They WILL become more economically, militarily, politically involved in world affairs and, like America in the later half of the 20th century, will become a world leader in ALL facets of world affairs. The reich-wing will provide the bombs. You catholics will hype up the gore.The only thing we can do (should do, must do) is work with them and, together, influence the rest of the world into better conditions.It is written into the future. Regardless of the law the reality is that there is no religious freedom in china. You have no right to religious activity. Religious activity is tolerated at the pleasure of the party.In the USofA we have declared racial equality officially legally since 1964. As you say, changing people is even harder than changing governments. In reality the USofA does not have racial equality. We got us a long way to go.Establishing a church in china DOES NOT establish religious freedom in china. No, jar. We IS the USofA. The reality of our mark in this world is not the grand platitudes we write into our laws but what we actually do to people.Yes, it is us, the USofA, that is racist and withholds equality from our citizens. Yeah, we have a lot of good things going for us on the rights and freedom side of reality but race relations is not one of them.
