For Trump to really "get" Corona virus, he needs to get the full treatment.
That is to say, he needs to lose his job and get evicted.
We're working on that.

A Psychopath on Steroids
My friend just texted me that last year she had been put on the same steroids as Trump is now on and how it affected her mentally and emotionally such that she had to maintain her self-awareness to keep from saying or doing anything dangerous (it had her swinging from suicidal to homicidal -- she still hasn't told me how she was planning to kill me).
So that means that Trump is literally a psychopath on steroids.

Conspiratards

There are rabid Trump and Q-Anon supporters who are anti-vaxxers that are anti-mask and who believe the Coronavirus is a "hoax." They think Trump is going to save us from this nonsense. But he is greatly responsible for the abysmal handling of it and how will his supporters deal with the fact that Trump himself concedes that not only is the virus real but that he himself contracted it?!
You can't make this shit up.... How do you talk to somebody like that? What do you say to appeal to whatever limited rational sense they have floating around in their head?

he is handling it as always
Today's tweet from the twit:
quote:
"Feeling really good!" he said. "Don't be afraid of Covid. Don't let it dominate your life. We have developed, under the Trump Administration, some really great drugs & knowledge. I feel better than I did 20 years ago!"
Important lessons have been made clear and should be learned from this spate of Republicans getting the Covid-19 virus.
Only one death and he was the wrong color anyway.
People with Covid-19, even elderly folk with underlying conditions can still function with maybe a weekend off or Spa Day so there is simply no reason to shut businesses down.
Even in the important truly critical businesses like the Executive Branch and Senate not wearing masks and ignoring all that socialist distancing stuff does not keep important work from getting done.
It is only liberals and socialists that cannot simply get with the program.
The Liberal Socialists in the House just want to keep paying people to not work.
It is only the expendables, old folk that do not produce and are just a liability that are in danger.

The feel real good is a side effect of the steriods. But, hey, 3 sentators got it at the same party at the white house, two of whom are on the judicial comittee.

Okay, I have had asthma since I was a baby. I know those looks, those involuntary gestures, the unconscious head tilt-back to try to open airways, the wipe the sweat away and then tell everyone you have it under control and "And I'll be better, I'll be better, Doc, as soon as I am able".

Re: Put a dog back in the White House:
The Wikipedia page, United States presidential pets, reports that Trump is the first President since Polk (1845-1849) to not have had a pet while in office. Actually, Polk is the only other President to not have had a pet. All the other Presidents had pets, though not always the conventional dog, cat, bird types.
That page has a list. van Buren had two tiger cubs, but Congress forced him to give them to a zoo. John Quincy Adams had silkworms (his wife's actually, for the silk) and an alligator (which is considered apocryphal). Several had horses, plus the occasional cow or goat. Jefferson had a pair of grizzly cubs until they grew too troublesome to keep. Andrew Johnson fed white mice he found in his bedroom.
It does tell you something about a person that they would have and take care of pets. And it tells you so much more about a person who is incapable of caring for an animal.

I wouldn't at all be surprised to hear if he tortured animals as a young child which is an early sign of sociopathy. I can't imagine life without my beloved pets... And Donald Trump can't imagine what its like to love something selflessly devoted to him because the only thing he is selfishly devoted to is himself. Even his own children are extensions of himself... He doesn't "love" them the way a father should. He just loves the idea of them carrying along some imagined Trumpian Empire and the Trump name.

The Dow dropped 300 points after he tweeted that there would be no stimulus until after the election. I think that would hit him where it hurts.

He and Jared probably shorted the DOW before he made that statement.

I have long noticed the same thing. Even more now as almost everybody in the Trump Administration or even close to them is popping positive for COVID.
Except for Trump's kids. As if they never see each other.
