Re: The Corruption Continues
Unfortunately in the US it is impossible to put a sitting President in jail for corruption; under our Constitution all that can be done is Impeachment.

Trump is being frighteningly quiet.

Well he is actively replacing key positions in the military, science, law enforcement; appointing people antithetical to restraint over the military and law enforcement and antithetical to science and reality over science, research and environment. He is also changing many key job descriptions to make it more difficult to replace those people.

Re: quiet
But the hearing in the Pennsylvania case is just about to begin. After TWO law firms dropped out and the case was massively pared down.
For extra fun Rudy Giuliani is appearing as a lawyer - for the first time in nearly 30 years. And has already made a gaffe by claiming to be a member in good standing of the DC Bar when his membership is suspended for non-payment of dues.
Law Twitter has ordered popcorn.

Hispanics are supporting Republicans, in Georgia, if seems.
Trump only lost to Biden, among Hidpanics, 62 to 37 percent .
Perdue, only lost ( no pun intended) (Perdu means "lost" in French) Hispanic voters 52 to 43 against Ossoff.
I noticed the Georgia Hispanic trend back in 2018, and posted my concerns here at EvC.
My biggest fear is that the GOP could get a post Trump bump among Hispanics. I have lost my good wishes with Republicans , though I started my life as a liberal Republican, who generally never supported Republicans on too many issues. So I now don't want to see Republicans do well, unless they make as hard turn toward pro trade, pro immigration policies.

An Op-Ed Piece Worth Reading
I had little enthusiasm for Joe Biden. I thought he was too old and too soft and too slow. I agreed with some of his message, especially the parts about reducing animosities and bringing the country closer together, but I supported him because he was not Trump. I would have supported almost anyone who was not Trump.
But if this op-ed interview piece accurately captures Biden's drive and intellect then I was wrong: Opinion | Joe Biden Interview: 'We’re Going to Fight Like Hell' - The New York Times

Re: An Op-Ed Piece Worth Reading
That is a good article. I am cautiously optimistic that we elected the best man. I know what Trump was like and this team looks sharper and more balanced.
We will still have a giant financial correction at some point in the next four years, but it won't be Biden's fault.
