Even though there is clear, compelling and overwhelming evidence that such gathering pose an immediate and direct threat to the general population it demonstrated that when there is a majority of religious nutjobs in power reason, science and evidence are ignored in the favor of dogma and fantasy.

Accepting a pardon has been found to be an admission of guilt by the Supreme Court. The Presidential Pardon though only applies to Federal Crimes. The individual States could use those admissions of guilt in any State charges related to those acts and the Presidential Pardon only means the person has already pleaded guilty.
The Proud Boys have said that they will come but not wear their distinctive garb and instead blend in.
It could be a great way to claim that it is Black Live Matter or Antifa that are causing any disturbances. And I imagine Erik still can call up support to 'put down' any insurrection.

Yes, once Trump is out of office States can go for him, but DC is not a state so I'm not sure what the procedure will be. However Georgia and New York as well as the governors of ever State where there were Trump inspired incidents can line up their attorneys.
