I'm sure I recall that according to the reporting on Trump's speech (reported before the insurrection started) Trump directed them to march on the Capitol. Not only did he deliberately whip them into a frenzy, but he also pointed them in the direction he wanted them to go. It has been pointed out that these people, especially the ones who have entered the Capitol building, have been caught on camera. They will be identified and charged.We have already identified their ring leader, Trump. We need to remove him from office as quickly as possible in order to prevent further mayhem. The 25th Amendment would work the fastest, but every way I've read it requires the Vice President to initiate the process. Maybe this would restore Pence's spine, especially the way that Trump had placed Pence's own life in jeopardy.What I haven't heard anything about yet is whether the security of the electors' ballot counts had been maintained. Ordinary Republicans may well be responsible for electing Trump. Hopefully most of the non-populist ones with some educational perspective and half a brain realize the error of their choice 4 years ago...but for them it was Trump or Hillary and to this day most ordinary Republicans would choose Trump (were he their only option)
In 2016 I simply did not vote. I disliked both Hillary and the Donald. In 2020 I favored Biden as the better choice largely due to Trumps utter incompetence and indifference...but am wary of the extreme Left and all that BLM reparations crap as well as the witchcraft of the LGBQT. I have nothing against being gay or being black, but I do have objections when personal feelings and general misunderstanding of who God is (they prefer humanism by and large) becomes political. The far right extremists are as troublesome as the far left idealogues. You guys think they are worse, but there are not as many uneducated nationalist rednecks as there are pissed of minorities and feminists whose major crime is ignoring the authority of God and placing themselves as such. They stir up as much trouble as the redneck racists though in a different sort of way. I see both extrtemist groups as counter productive and divisive. He likely is tired. I do not think he is finished just yet. I believe that he will become an effective leader as president6 and the scale of balance will again tilt towards the center of the political spectrum where I live. He is a spoiled brat (with Dads money initially) from a military school with an ego that eclipses his brain. We cant get him out of the way soon enough. The police in general have likely had some training since George Floyd. Hopefully they have learned crowd control. Its like walking on eggshells. The economic correction will occur later this year. One thing that the moderate republicans understand is that you need to stimulate small business. The mistake was in giving Big Business the tax breaks as well...though the late Dr.Milton Friedman understood economic reality. We cant just keep handing out stimulus checks without coming around to bite us in the wallet. We look out for our family and immediate extended family before we adopt the whole world as our brothers and sisters. It will be God who judges the intentions and motives of the collective human heart and I believe both extremes of the political ideological spectrum will be judged based on what they do with what they honestly believe. I do not see God as Spinoza did. We need to be aware of painting the opposing political spectrum from our own with too broad a brush.I am so tired of the political division in our country. Both extremes need to move towards the middle. Nationally first and globally second. And for God sake be honest with what spirit runs your head (and heart)

I'm assuming that you value the global poor before preserving the US middle class (and working class). But you guys claim Socialism is no boogieman. We in the US are a ways from it....though I worry about an ulterior motive behind global debt and the means to repay the bill(if in fact it needs to be paid). My worry is that the democrats will find ways to block economic freedom in the name of alleviating human suffering...making social payments (higher taxes) mandatory and spending the money on what republicans see as the wrong things.The political division will continue until you guys accept God or the Republicans give it all up, as ringo eagerly suggests.
