Obviously, Moose promoted the topic, and that in and of itself validates its existence and refutes any notions of "silliness" or irrelevance.
Were it left up to you as an administrator we would have lots of topics of gun collections, pens, and Baltimore memories.

Lamark, by contrast, is simply bored and wants some conversation.
You could at least comment to him something positive about his topic or say nothing at all. Your "yawn" shows that you think of yourself better than he about relevant topics. What if he yawned at your pen collection?
