Phat writes: Let's say you could speak on behalf of such an individual who was hypothetically headed for hell at some future date. Would it really matter whether God knew the outcome if, in fact, the individual had plenty of time to choose his path more wisely? You are still missing the point. If God is the creator of all that is, seen and unseen, and that God also has foreknowledge then the individual cannot change the outcome, choose a different path. OR that God is both evil and fallible. Phat, the God that the vast majority of US Christians worship simply cannot be defended as anything but the greatest evil imaginable. My Website: My Website

Phat writes: 'm asking you (in the hypothetical) to defend the fate of the victim, judging God based on the victims choices or lack thereof. Bullshit Phat, you really can't be as stupid as you insist on showing. If God is the creator of all, seen and unseen and has foreknowledge the the individual has no choice. There is no possible way to defend the actions of that God OR justify the fate of the victim. A God with foreknowledge who also is the creator is simply evil. Period. Full Stop. There can be no justification. My Website: My Website

Phat writes: You make similar assumptions that Percy made. NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1 I am NOT making any assumptions. If God is the Creator of all that is, seen and unseen ... That is not an assumption it is a claim made by Christians about the God they claim to worship. If God has foreknowledge ... That is not an assumption it is a claim made by Christians about the God they claim to worship. IF those are true then if anyone ends up damned it can only be Gods fault and responsibility. The God created the human and had foreknowledge that the human would be damned. There are no assumptions in anything in this post Phat. Maybe you simply don't even know the meaning of 'assumption'. AbE: And I have a very clear understanding of how the spiritual world works. It works by making shit up and avoiding all honesty or reality or truths. Edited by jar, : see AbE:My Website: My Website

Phat writes: First, explain to me why God should not have foreknowledge? (Remember...according to *your* hypothetical, ALL Gods are made-up. ) LOL Think Phat, you might even like it. It is not me but Ignorant Christianity that makes that claim while refusing to think about the consequences.
Phat writes: Become a victim's advocate for a hypothetical human who ends up sending himself to hell (or at least ineligible for heaven) Explain why God is evil for sending satan to hell and thus setting the place up. (Potential evil vs actualized evil) There is no need or possible way anyone could be an advocate for the victim. God screwed the sucker and it is a done deal.
Phat writes: Given that some argue that humans create any and all Gods (Except perhaps GOD Himself) explain why Jesus is not necessary to accept for every man, woman, and child. Explain the loophole that allows for God to save everybody and for nobody to be damned. Keep in mind that you are defending the satan of classical apologetics. No one has claimed that everyone should be saved. Stop asserting yet more falsehoods Phat. Really try to think. My Website: My Website

Phat writes: What do you propose as your solution? The solution is really very simple. Educate people so they understand that the message is more important than the messenger; that following Jesus means DOING rather than believing; that Jesus was a socialist communist, that reality is and that the Bill Will Get Paid!My Website: My Website

Phat writes: What you guys don't understand is that God is under no obligation to save human lives. Phat try to pay attention! Really Phat, you can't be a stupid as your posts show. The problem is that the God who is the creator of all that is, seen and unseen and that has foreknowledge is EVIL for creating a human that gets damned. My Website: My Website

Have you ever read the Bible Phat?
Where does it say that everything will be easy? Did God build the Ark? Did God build the graineries? Did God harvest the grain? Who had to go gather the manna and catch the quail (ever try hunting quail). Phat the bill will always get paid; the issue is how to pay it. We cannot avoid that fact. But because we have been trying to avoid paying the bill, the bill just keeps getting bigger and bigger with far more serious pain coming due. Edited by jar, : fix sub-titleMy Website: My Website

PK writes: In practical terms everyone who believes that Jesus is real (and not just in the sense that there was a person behind the stories) should follow him. Just as those who believe that Mohammed or Joseph Smith were genuine prophets should follow their teachings. Those that believe otherwise may be wrong and may regret it, but they are not being untrue to their professed belief. Unfortunately it seems that far too often the leaders whether priests or prophet or elder or father or pastor or imam do not teach the followers what is actually found in their religious texts, creeds, books or scrolls. The current crop of Christian Apologetics are a great example. It's understandable since most of them seem to be selling a product and so the adage "Sell the sizzle rather than the steak" triumphs. As Phat points out, whether we are talking about the Christian or Muslim or Buddhist or Hindu or Taoist faith, the actual message is all too often a Hard Teaching and that is not an easy thing to sell. It's much easier to sell salvation if you don't have to actually do anything to get it.My Website: My Website

Phat writes: The fact that God could know that destination in no way means that God was evil for foreknowing their damnation. Nonsense Phat; that God is evil for creating that person! You can lie about the God you market until hell freezes over so keep on keeping on.My Website: My Website

No Phat, I do not choose to defend Lucifer.
Stop lying. If the God has foreknowledge and created Lucifer then that God is evil. Period. Full stop. And Phat, you don't anger me rather you disappoint me. You can only be pitied. Edited by jar, : respond to Phat next silly posting. My Website: My Website

Oh, Phat can see the argument but refuses to consider it since the only possible conclusion is that the God marketed by the majority of Club Christian is evil and that to actually follow Jesus teachings is hard.

Phat writes: As long as they keep the inclusivism within Christianity-at-large they will do fine, but when they try and synergize all religions as one, they step out of bounds. Again, that is NOT what the Bible teaches or what Jesus said repeatedly. Try actually reading the Bible Phat; you might even learn something. My Website: My Website
