The evidence really shows that Trump’s a liar. But we already knew that.

The US is truly split into two demographics; those who acknowledge reality and those like Trump and all of Trump's followers who simply deny reality. This doesn't sound right. I agree that the US is nearly evenly split between conservatism and liberalism, but I do not see 47% of the people as being either pro-Trump nor in denial of reality. I am a moderate Conservative-leaning idealogue. I am no fan of Trump. And I would say that many of you deny basic aspects of reality.
Besides, jar I thought you were a bit of a conservative. What happened?"A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " *** “…far from science having buried God, not only do the results of science point towards his existence, but the scientific enterprise itself is validated by his existence.”- Dr.John Lennox “The whole war between the atheist and the theist comes down to this: the atheist believes a 'what' created the universe; the theist believes a 'who' created the universe.” “The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him.” — Leo Tolstoy, The Kingdom of God is Within You

It's true that conservatives tend to be a bunch of gutless wonders who can't do it.

You are deluded, but I already attempted providing you rebuttal, and in response you posted links to videos. You're engaging in the exact same practices as the rest of conservative nation that enable them to maintain ideas at odds with reality.
Does your disdain for Trump mean that you label nearly half the people as delusional? How many people think the election was rigged? Recent reports say around 30%. That's the minimum for how many people are delusional. How many people think Democrats are socialists? 64% of Republicans. They're delusional, and they likely don't know the definition of socialism. The mental phenomenon in operation is confirmation bias. Many conservative minds these days seek out and accept tales that confirm what they want to believe or already believe, not what is true. They seek out tales, not facts or data or evidence. What captures their attention is stuff that confirms their beliefs, not stuff that is true. If I posted made-up stuff about rigged elections and about Democratic advocacy of socialism and about the collapse of the American dollar and American power or about taxing immigrants or about the ether or about the mind not being part of the physical world, then in no time people like you and marc9000 and LamarkNewAge and Michael MD and Christian7 would be quoting those in your particular interest area as if they were fact. This is because none of you have the ability to tell truth from falsity. The criteria you use to judge an idea or tale true or false is whether it appeals to you, not whether there's any actual truth to it. --Percy Edited by Percy, : Grammar.

For fuck's sake, read what I wrote. Can't do what? Marc9000 claimed that nobody could stand up against multiple opponents. That's the "it". That's why I quoted Woody Guthrie: to paraphrase, never back down unless you're proven wrong - and even then, make 'em work for it."I call that bold talk for a one-eyed fat man!" -- Lucky Ned Pepper

I honestly think (and likely even hope) that the bill gets defaulted and bankrupted (or even inflated) away rather than simply paid through tax increases.
This whole idea that raising taxes will pay it is clearly false. The total net wealth of the top 2% of taxpayers totals roughly 4 trillion dollars. In today's terms that is roughly one year's deficit. Owing nearly 29 trillion, the bill is effectively unpayable. Inflating the debt away is the best solution. The alternative is to trash the wealth of the middle class. And this means each and every one of *you* here at EvC."A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " *** “…far from science having buried God, not only do the results of science point towards his existence, but the scientific enterprise itself is validated by his existence.”- Dr.John Lennox “The whole war between the atheist and the theist comes down to this: the atheist believes a 'what' created the universe; the theist believes a 'who' created the universe.” “The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him.” — Leo Tolstoy, The Kingdom of God is Within You

So, you think it is fair that you had to pay 30% while they paid maybe 2% for the last 41 years. Do you intend to support the policies that will ensure this tax rate applies for the next 41 years? Is math just lost on you? If so ignore what follows.
The service on our national debt of around $300 billion is around 9% of revenue. Financial advisers recommend that a family's debt service not be above 25% of household income. The service on the national debt is far smaller than the maximum financial advisers recommend as safe for families. Why do you think the nation's debt service of 9% is ruinous when it is so much less than the 25% that financial advisers recommend as safe for families? --Percy

Mike Lindell’s surprise witness (supposedly even better than the packet captures that were “proof” of fraud) turns out to be even worse than I thought.
We knew that she switched off the cameras monitoring the system. We suspected that she had leaked confidential information to at least one unauthorised person (not counting Lindell). It turns out that she leaked BIOS passwords to Ron Watkins, operator of the notorious 8chan forum, and the most likely person behind the Q identity in the last few years (though not the original Q).
Ars Technica A judge has barred her from overseeing elections after the shocking security breach, stating:
During the Mesa County "trusted build", confidential passwords were required. The passwords were maintained on a spreadsheet contained on a laptop [that Colorado Department of State Senior Voting Systems Specialist Danny] Casias brought with him from Denver. At some point, during the four plus hours of the "trusted build" process, video and photos were taken of Casias' laptop and the passwords contained on his screen. Later, the confidential passwords were publicly posted to an online social media site. On August 2, 2021, the Secretary learned that the confidential passwords had been publicly disseminated and an investigation began. The person responsible was an unvetted “consultant” brought in by Peters.

300 billion? That can't be right. As I recall it's in the trillions -- like 20 or so?

Not my clearest writing. The phrase "of around $300 billion" was intended as a modifier of "service", not of "our national debt." And the interest on our national debt is not $300 billion. See Message 107 in the Phat Unplugged thread where a parallel discussion took place for a correction. The national debt is currently in the $29 trillion vicinity. --Percy
