1). Republicans take control of house and senate in 2022 (by hook or by crook).
2). The house elects Trump as speaker of the house. Note that the speaker doesn’t have to be a Representative. The house majority can select anyone they want, but probably has to be >= 25yo and US citizen. 3). The house then impeaches both Biden and Harris and the senate convicts both, thus removing both from office. The speaker of the house (Trump) is third in line and becomes president. 4). Since Trump has served less than half a term in his second term as president, he is eligible to run for president in 2024. [Optional 5). House and senate introduce bills to repeal 22nd amendment to eliminate two term limit for presidents.]

So scratch that one.
Voters are a pain in the butt, though. (And I say that as a non-partisan progressive)

It can't happen here.
What far too often gets overlooked is the rise of a fascist military state in Japan (the Shōwa period)which is actually a different scenario with very similar outcome. Edited by jar, : No reason given. My Website: My Website

I thought others would ask you about this, but it appears they did not.
I will just add that a congressional move to overturn the constitution will require 3/4 of states (38 of them) to ratify the joint congressional decision. A congressional overturning of the constitution requires no Executive branch input, at all - infact the sitting President is totally irrelevant. But it does require a 2/3 supermajority in BOTH the upper and lower legislative chambers to kick off. (As if that is not hard enough) Then the hard part starts. It takes the states "ratification" process. There is a general formula for that, today. In the past, states have had radically different ways to get the "business" passed. Legislative chambers are very democratically elected today. So the process ...

I could be wrong in my reactionary thinking, but I think I would rather deal with groups of authoritarian cops rather than have to deal with crowds of undisciplined and unruly mobs who will steal what they need.
We need armed guards at our store. The company won't yet do it. It is a PR issue and causes bigger problems than it solves. The time is coming, however."A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " *** “…far from science having buried God, not only do the results of science point towards his existence, but the scientific enterprise itself is validated by his existence.”- Dr.John Lennox “The whole war between the atheist and the theist comes down to this: the atheist believes a 'what' created the universe; the theist believes a 'who' created the universe.” “The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him.” — Leo Tolstoy, The Kingdom of God is Within You

Yes.
That was also a common way of thinking in Japan, Germany, Russia, Italy and even much of the US during the late 1920s and early to mid 1930s. Learn history or repeat history. Edited by jar, : No reason given. My Website: My Website

What type of changes do you suggest need to be made to our constitution?

it Isn't. It's about changing congressional procedures.

Then term limits qualifies if LNA wants to pursue that. Maybe he can find some polls showing how weak the Whigs were on the question in the upper counties of New York during the 1846 bi-elections thus Democrats today and it’s all because of Hunter’s undue influence from flying around on AF-1 with his dad. Maybe not.

Perhaps you can tell me just how powerful the Know Nothing party was in the 1856 election, and just what was the problem with German immigrants.
How did it relate to your Whig party, anyway?

Bzzzt! Too subtle. Never mind.
Anyway, no, I do not know of such things but I am sure you can enlighten us in detail. But whatever story you relate should be tied to term limits.Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.
