It will be interesting as to the response you bleeding hearts give to the situation of unabashed and out-of-control looting and shoplifting in San Francisco. It appears to me that all races are involved and it looks to me as if it stems from blatant lawlessness. We need bigger prisons.
DailyMail writes: San Francisco's notoriously woke District Attorney Chesa Boudin says his office has filed criminal charges against nine people involved in Friday's brazen organized theft of a Louis Vuitton store - with more arrests to come. The progressive top prosecutor has come under enormous pressure in recent days following a spate of viral videos which show organized groups of thieves ransacking and looting designer stores in the San Francisco Bay Area. Boudin told reporters during a news conference in San Francisco on Tuesday that the suspects will be charged with crimes including looting, grand theft, burglary, possession of stolen property, firearm possession, commercial burglary. Two of those arrested were found to be in possession of firearms, according to the district attorney."A lie can travel half way around the world while the truth is putting on its shoes." ~Mark Twain " *** “…far from science having buried God, not only do the results of science point towards his existence, but the scientific enterprise itself is validated by his existence.”- Dr.John Lennox “The whole war between the atheist and the theist comes down to this: the atheist believes a 'what' created the universe; the theist believes a 'who' created the universe.” “The most difficult subjects can be explained to the most slow-witted man if he has not formed any idea of them already; but the simplest thing cannot be made clear to the most intelligent man if he is firmly persuaded that he knows already, without a shadow of a doubt, what is laid before him.” — Leo Tolstoy, The Kingdom of God is Within You

As I understand the statistics usual in that urban demographic I would think you might have a problem with this story.
The majority of the perps would self identify as christian.Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.

Honestly Phat, I don't understand the point of this. What happened there is not close to what people normally mean by "shoplifting". By misrepresenting it as shoplifting, you only damage your own argument and destroy what little credibility you have left.Fundamentalism - the anti-American, anti-Christian branch of American Christianity

It is a mob mentality in action. As for the charge that they claimed to be Christians, that is irrelevant. It is not what one claims but what one does. You guys even taught me that! I suppose you imagine that atheists would never do such a thing! The behavior of a group is a behavior unto itself. The makeup of the individuals present is irrelevant.

Think Phat. What exactly do you see? Jesus was indeed a bleeding heart. His was of the noble variety. This is unlike the modern definitions of bleeding heart

Your "definition" is how right-wing nuts define it. You think "bleeding heart" is an insult when it should be Step One.

It has nothing to do with "failing to understand." It's about empathy. Your "understanding" is just grasping for excuses to do nothing.

What? The reeducation must happen first. The reparations and lavish tax breaks will only be effective after that. Don't the reparations go to the opposite end of the economic spectrum from the tax breaks?

No Phat; can you NEVER actually learn what others say? Of course, they can be Christians. Being a Christian or Not a Christian has absolutely nothing to do with what someone does. To be a Christian all one needs is to be a member of any one of the chapters of Club Christian. There is no evidence that the membership of a Christian has ANYTHING to do with either following what Jesus is written to have taught or even the lowest level of morality and honesty. The evidence does show that a vast body of Christians and Christianity do not exhibit what Jesus is written to have taught or even the lowest level of morality and honesty. I suppose you imagine that atheists would never do such a thing! I imagine no such stupidity. I may have fallen off the melon truck but it wasn't yesterday ... or something. The difference, Phat, is that atheism is not claiming some superior morality to be foisted upon the people by threat. Christian most certainly does. Hypocrisy is the crime here Phat. Not organized syndicated theft.Eschew obfuscation. Habituate elucidation.
