By-and-large people agree on what is right and wrong - in a moral sense.
People don't agree which of our many gods are 'right'. People all agree that everyone else's god is wrong.
Generally speaking, anyone reading the Old Testament with no prior assumptions or knowledge would say that the god in that story had the temperament and morality of a narcissistic, psychotic mass murderer. And therefore 'wrong'.
So I'm not sure what you mean by 'right'.
