Coming to a Forum Near You!
I think we have seen one or two of these people here. I know we've seen their effects on some of our more vocal crazies and if you go to social media, my god it's over run.
Well, hold onto your pant legs cuz the bullshit, distortions and sinister evil lies are all about to get higher and deeper.
The Russians have great cyber warfare capabilities (like this is something we didn't already know) and the rise of tensions in Ukraine makes it plausible that the Russians will invade, the west will muddle some kind of confrontation short of real confrontation and a major part of that level of confrontation will be cyber.
But not so much on destroying or disrupting infrastructure as much as disrupting western societies in social media where the west is uniquely vulnerable.
quote:
DISTRACT, DISTORT AND DIVIDE
Americans can probably expect to see Russian-sponsored cyber activities working in tandem with propaganda campaigns. These activities are likely to be aimed at preventing a unified response to Russian aggression in Ukraine.
The specific maneuvers aim to bolster narratives, people and groups that support Russian interests and undermine those that are counter to Russian interests. The maneuvers, which include dismissing and distorting information and undermining opinion leaders, are carried out in the press and on social media.
Russian intelligence operatives are skilled at using technology, including amplifying misinformation through fake accounts on popular social media platforms. In effect, Russia uses social and other online media like a military-grade fog machine that confuses the U.S. population and encourages mistrust in the strength and validity of the U.S. government.
The Russians are coming.

I hate science
One of the great epicurean pleasures in life is the consumption of wine. All kinds of wine. Nectar. With a kick.
One of the best treatments for what ails you is a daily glass of cabernet. Science confirms the benefits of moderate imbibing for your heart's sake.
'Cept no it may not. It may be quite the opposite. New massive study from UK indicates that the original studies were in error. Based on bad statistical methods. The study calls it bad science.
quote:
"The so-called J-shaped curve of the cardiovascular disease-alcohol consumption relationship suggesting health benefits from low to moderate alcohol consumption is the biggest myth since we were told smoking was good for us," says cardiovascular physiologist Rudolph Schutte from Anglia Ruskin University (ARU).
Data From Over 350,000 People Have Really Bad News About 'Moderate' Drinking : ScienceAlert
Science has taken away my pizza, beer, steak, spaghetti, burgers w/onion rings and my Häagen-Dazs along with every other wonderfully fat, carb and sugar filled delight on the freaking planet. Now it wants to take away my wine.
I hate science.

Re: I hate science
I couldn't put up the effort to grow my own stuff. I'm lazy.
I vape. Cartridges are available from my favorite state-regulated drug pusher superstore at a surprisingly decent price. Quality and dose are excellent. I haven't seen anything less that 90.3% THC, so ya, a little goes a long way. I don't take lung hits. I take little sips. Mild throat hits. Just a couple small sips is all it takes for a almost immediate buzz. Then I go sip, sip, sip, sip, sip, sip on the thing for a half an hour or until Gowron, son of M'Rel, himself appears and makes me stop.
Then I get on EvC and talk to yous guys.

Re: I hate science
Do you have any recommendations for a vaping device?
I think the best thing would be visit a legal dispensary. If it’s like mine they will show you the cartridges, disposable, 500 or 1000 mg of 90%+ THC. I’m a moderate user and each 1000 mg cartridge lasts me about 7 to 10 days. They will also have a pen battery that the cartridge screws into for power. It’s a slim cylinder like a cigarette and comes with a separate USB module to charge the battery. Less than $10 for the set and I’ve had my latest one for 5 years.
Probably not at a dispensary but at a real vape shop there are very fancy battery modules for the hard corps champion smokestack puffing billowing dense fogs of vape. Hundreds of $$. Adjustable, up over 100 watts. Nice for peacock displays of billowing vape juice but way too harsh for THC. Don’t go there. I still have my larger older vape mod from years ago. I have to set it below 10 watts to produce a tolerable mist to inhale. One of the reasons my cartridges last as long as they do, I guess. If you decide to distill your own elixir you will want to visit the vape shop to see the refillable screw-in cartridges they carry.
One of the reasons I went to vape cartridges is that the plant was just too harsh to enjoy without hacking my lungs out. At the lower powers of the pen battery and lower set vape mod this abrasiveness is near gone. As I said in my other post I can sip at the vape gently then inhale without the irritation. Even better than a hookah.
Hope this helps.

Re: I hate science
I think almost all the descriptions of the different effects of various strains is pure bullshit mythology from the hippie flowerpower days
I can tell the difference but then I'm one of those hippies from the flower power days. For me indica is more of a stimulating head-high while sativa is more a relaxed buzz. So why not do both? Hybrid is my choice.
As far as flavorings and terpenes? Personal preference. I like lemon kush, pink champagne, cherry, all kinds of different ones with or without (natural) terpenes. There was one called skunk. Yes, it did have that odor but just enough to make it interesting.
You may also notice that after a few hours of non-use that first draw may be blocked. Strong draw without the button should clear it.
I ought to do a video. Stoking 101
I find the vape convenient and immediately available, though the ritual of rolling a joint in just the right way, with just the right packing, is missed.
I feel I have corrupted your innocent ways. Enjoy.
