Well, quite frankly I didn't expect an answer. But it's one of the most creative formulas I've seen in a long time, which made me assume he put some thought behind it.
The only bit which seems to come from any normal math is the simple V = R * I => VI = R * I * I = R * I^2.

For Melchior and the 'Doc'
A step by step heat balance leaves you with..............
NOTHING = A LOT OF SOMETHING. Now start to think why and how ?

Could you *please* explain how you do that balance, then? Because quite frankly you can't just skip a lot of steps and ask us to be sure of the validity of those steps.
Step by step, don't skip ANYTHING.

VI in = VI out - I^2R but the latter term is negligable compared to the heat given up to the oil.

Where does the R come from? It's not marked in the figure. Where does the I come from? You have several currents in a transformator. Why are none of them marked and distinguished?
Also, I hope your - I^2 * R isn't ment to represent energy losses (compared to the coils), because if so you've introduced a negative resistance.

Suggest you run a test. Even a standard laminated transformer will provide you with free heat. Not as much but enough to make your head spin.

I don't think you understand what your formula indicates. If it were correct, you would not get any heat at all. In fact, you'd get a negative amount of heat energy (that is, you would be required to supply heat to the machine in order to get electricity out of it).
Your formula clearly states that Pout = Pin + Pheat.
There would be no free heat at all! You'd also need to make some rather strange changes to the way time acts if you want heat to transform into electricity without any outside forces.
I hoped you would have at least thought this through and had a rudimentary knowledge on how to handle equations, given your rather imaginative wordings, but it seems like you haven't.

Melchior
you are wasting your time.
Alan Creswell is either doing this for pure amusement OR (and much more likely) he is a complete crank. There are literally hundreds of crank websites with bad physics/engineering on them. Tons of perpetual motion machines, squarers of circles etc etc - on the same level as the UFO conspiracists.
His equations make NO sense because they have NO sense. Just childish meanderings of a deluded mind.
His units are frequently wrong - he loves the phrase 'makes your head spin' - he, out of nowhere, brings up 'buzzwords' like E=mc^2 energy terms and inserts them in his nonsense expressions.
Alan Creswell is perhaps of elderly age but his webpage (and rants on here) are of a childlike intellect. Notice the way he insults others on here - it's all a conspiracy against mavericks like him by the established (yet he says deluded) mainstream scientists. Classic paranoia.

Which is why I figured I'd get some amusement out of it myself, by hoping he could at least bring up a 'decent' defense for it, but... Seems not.
Of course I don't take it seriously.

Eta Carinae is a so called astro-physicist. He means to make a living pouring more garbage into an already supersaturated one. He is not even a Higgsonly bosonified six flavoured Quarkist. Even these farts laugh at him. They have good reason to. They are out shafting the asteroiders for taxpayers money.
You disappoint me. Get your brain into gear and look at the water and gyro engines. You cannot handle elementary transformer behaviour but rail on anyway.
I have just taken delivery of some important gear because the Hungarians have repeated my superconductor find and I mean to get in ahead of them.
I was pissed off to find you two still moaning and wailing. I have done more than enough for you both.

I haven't ever seen a person get bosonified. Wouldn't that be rather painful? It would also end your career rather quickly, since most employers wouldn't like you not being material at work.

mmm what is that smell?
Yep - it's bullshit I'm smelling. Piles of crank caused bullshit.
You see Alan, the internet is wonderful for cranks like you. You can go on and on about mythical Hungarians or experiments/prototypes you are working on BUT NOTHING ever comes of it. Why?
Because with the advent of the internet you can post merrily away under the misapprehension that you are doing something. Whereas in the old days you would have been a mouse farting in the wind with not a hope of publication. Of course you are not published today but at least it gets posted for crank posterity on your web page or forums such as this.
I've got $1000 that says that we never hear of anything on your webpage being worth a shit.
Here's an equation for your:
(Alan Cresswell hot air)^3 + (Misapplied physics)^2/3 + (Cresswell paranoia) = c^2 * Googol
or:
(Cresswell work) + (Cresswell physics acumen) + (Cresswell logic) = 0

Aha! Since no real work has been put into his ideas, but a lot of hot air comes out of them, we can conclude that this is indeed a perpetual crank engine.
(Take this as a joke)

Re: mmm what is that smell?
Make that $6000 US and match my money up front. Who is to hold it and how? I shall need cast iron confirmation. I do not trust you. I think you are too young to understand an agreement of Gentlemen. I think your offer is as loose and bogus as your mouth.
Maybe other forum members can help me make sure you do not welch. Maybe some would like to bet on your intellectual capacity and take a piece. We shall see.
Bet is I produce free energy model(s), shown by BBC TV and deadline 20th July 2004. I take the money that day.
You are very sporting. UK bookies would not offer me odds on the second law of thermodynamics.

Re: mmm what is that smell?
I believe the only way to set up such a deal would be with a written agreement. When it comes to sums that large, I assume you understand why you can't just make a deal semi-anonymous over the internet.
Other forum members would not be able to provide anything; I do not believe forum posts weight much legally.
If you are willing to back up your claims, and have some honour in accepting the bet, I suggest you visit your local authorities and inquire on how to establish this legally.
Surely mere dollars would be a small price to pay for such a world-revolting event.
