She isn't my "beloved AOC". I never heard of her until you called her a "harpy". And I'm still waiting for you to explain why you called her a "harpy" (along with Kamala Harris) when you didn't even know what the word meant. Answer that question before you post any more stupid videos.

Cruz may be the son of immigrants but he has every right to tough opinions on immigration.
To his dying day, my father supported the internment of Japanese Canadians (and Americans) during the war. Many of them had been BORN in Canada (or the US) of Japanese immigrants.
The irony: My father himself was born in Canada of German immigrants. By his own logic, HE should have been interned too.
Children of immigrants do have a right to stupid opinions. We don't need to look stupid by defending them.

What you and Damselfly fail to grasp is the necessity of a two party system to preserve nationalism and prevent social democratic globalism from defining the destiny and meaning of our Republic.
You and your primitive two-party system.
1. A two-party system does not necessarily preserve nationalism.
2. Nationalism is not necessarily a good thing.
3. A two-party system does not necessarily prevent globalism.
4. Globalism is not necessarily a bad thing.
5. Get more parties.

Re: Conersations With Ted (Cruz)
Ted Cruz dismantles a Biden nominee once again.
I wont reconfigure my hair like Trump anytime soon but I do like Ted Cruz in his approach to this whole gender identity pickle that the liberals seem to embrace (largely due to the additional votes it will bring in)

Perhaps, but you owe it to yourselves to at least hear the arguments before criticizing them.
1. A two-party system does not necessarily preserve nationalism.
True.
2. Nationalism is not necessarily a good thing.
Nor is globalism necessarily a good thing.
3. A two-party system does not necessarily prevent globalism.
True. It was initially George HW Bush who proposed a "New World Order".
4. Globalism is not necessarily a bad thing.
It is if it runs over the US middle class.
5. Get more parties.

Re: Conersations With Ted (Cruz)
She sure did a totally poor job of that. But Cruz was, in effect, a fucking liar. It may well be that converting to natural gas has been a huge impact on the US CO2 emissions but that is deliberately avoiding the fact that gas is half as bad as coal.
Coal is terrible in so many ways that being half as bad as it is still disastrously bad. He thinks he's made some point. What he's actually shown is that the US has to get off gas too and fast.

Re: Conersations With Ted (Cruz)
It seems to me that even if we *have to* get off fossil fuels (oil, gas, and coal) we cant make the transition as quickly as we would like. This will be yet another way for the middle class to get handed the bill for the transition and it will gut us in the process. Some compromise must be reached regarding the length of the transitional timeline. We are not simply going to suffer in order to be the heroes that save the planet. The entire world must share the bill.

Noted. But we cant expect the US middle class to pay the global bill.

How about you ask the people with little good, fuel and almost no education how they feel about that. Then ask the billionaires.
I know, I know. Poor abused billionaires. It isn't their fault. Right?

What can be asserted without evidence can also be dismissed without evidence. -Christopher Hitchens

Facts don't lie or have an agenda. Facts are just facts

"God did it" is not an argument. It is an excuse for intellectual laziness.

If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up why would you have to lie?

the problem is that we will never get the billionaires to pay...and thus the bill trickles down to the midddle class...YOUR and MY class. Why cant everyone pay?
