If eternal life did not exist, would it be any more appropriate for me to go over to Tannys house and wreck all of his dragonfly slides? Or step on his face? Absence of evidence does not equate to evidence of absence. I think that what makes you so anti is the behavior of humans who claim to be chosen. Those wretched priests never voted against the war. You suffered the consequences. Yes, evil exists. We humans chose it. Not just the Priests either. Perhaps he needs to try magic mushrooms! All that anyone has is the Present Moment. And to be Present. If you don't walk with Jesus in the present, you won't be any close in eternity.

While I dont think that most people want just any god in their lives or church or religion, I think that most people would accept Jesus in their lives. As Percy and others have said before, sure we would if we were certain. Show us the evidence.And I can respect that.

You actually think that Teddy Bear is more real than my God?(Jesus) Dredge gets mad that nobody will believe his conversion experience, but I had one too and I quite expect nobody to believe it.If the peanut gallery has taught me one thing, it is that my integrity is more important than some fanciful tale that I recite about the miracles I've seen. Ummmmm changed lives? I mean, isn't that the whole idea and reason for encouraging others and sharing the Gospel?(Good News) Dwise1 is not a believer but he uses stories and anecdotes of his personal experience to hopefully teach others.He does not consciously try to teach, but his honesty and integrity go a long way.I would assert that integrity is wholeness and not double-mindedness and that wholeness is best achieved through communion. Life is too short to hate on everyone.

Because Jesus is not a relative God. Jesus is not the same "spirit" that Vishnu is. There is only One Spirit. He has many names. Wonderful Counselor. Mighty God. Prince Of Peace.(If Jesus were born today He would be born in the rubble of Gaza) Jesus is, was, and always will be God's character. Accept no substitutes. Especially the collective known as humanity. Because humanity needs Jesus. Not religion.

Are you saying there are no real churches? A church is represented by its members...not its fancy buildings or men wearing silly hats. Dredge is not showing a Christlike attitude towards other churches or atheists. Blame him, not his church. They likely have some people of character. I know of several.
