The website is very slow today. It is taking over 6 seconds from when I click until there is a response. Earlier it was over 10 sec. I have checked other sites and I am not experiencing this any place else. Ping is returning an 89 ms average. I am getting between 35 and 42 for all other sites I pinged

It is an excuse for intellectual laziness. If your viewpoint has merits and facts to back it up, why would you have to lie?

8 seconds here, earlier it was over 30 seconds, I expected it to time out but it didn't edit, just took 33 seconds to post the above

I can't explain this one. EvC Forum is a secure site - http requests are automatically translated into https requests. On a positive note, after not being able to find anything wrong yesterday I resolved to return to the issue today and found performance back to normal this morning. I'll return to investigating the problem if it returns.

No change here - except worse - 64 second and 90+ seconds for my last two attempts. Unusable sadly.

Exactly what I am seeing. Earlier I timed out, then it was 30 secs. Now seems back to full speed.

A server control panel setting looked wrong so I switched it back to what I thought it should be. It should never have changed in the first place, so I figured I must be misremembering, but then it worked. Hopefully that was really it and the problem is really gone.

Perhaps ChatGPT tried to run the show and failed.  arlier I said that mine was OK, but it had some moments of lag also. I signed back in and now it seems fine.
