Without resorting to Syamsu-levels of explicit conspiracy theory, does anyone else notice the possible link between the Christian (or other) disproval of gambling and it's implications upon people's understanding of mathematical probablity, which creationists seem to have issues with? In other words, does Christianity (or other religion which condemns gambling) promote misunderstanding of probability in order to distract people from the obvious unlikelihood of a supernatural creator? It seems a bit beyond the times of people who came up with the original religous texts of the time, but it still makes you wonder...........
