I wonder what Thomas Jefferson and other founding fathers would say to his portrayal of deism as "a very childish belief to think that we can do whatever we want and suffer no consequences" for that is not the point at all.

Apostle, thanks for bumping this post topic, it is always interesting to see a diversity of view.I would like to say that I agree that some mention disputing the claim of {Dawkins et al} for evidence for atheism (anti-theism?) is appropriate. Absence of proof is not proof of absence.enjoy.
