Anyone read "God's Debris" the thought experiment by Scott Adams (I know he writes Dilbert, but c'mon!) I find some serious problems in the scientific end of things, but really really like the philisophical angle. Specifically the evidence that their is no omnipotent God is the fact that we are here. No all powerful being would be motivated to do anything, because he would know the outcome before he has taken any action, what then is the purpose of creating, the only challenge left for a surpreme being? To seek self destruction. I really enjoyed the read, and would ask anyone here who has read it what they think of it, and if they think there is any weight to the scientific aspect of his writing. And if you havn't read it, check it out! Anyway, I'm rambling now because I just got out of some lame college intro to computer class, then 8 hours at work, so I'm ready to make friendly with my mattress, let me know what you think of this book if you've read it!
thanks
