Many of us are probably aware of the suggestion, made about three years ago, that the Fine Structure Constant may have changed slightly in the distant past, and that may mean that the speed of light changed slightly in the distant past. If you aren't aware of the suggestion, try Speed of Light, Other Constants May Change.
New research questions this finding, so we just don't know yet. See Disputed 'building block' of physics is constant.

SOL
I have seen stuff on changes to the speed of light before.
one is:\MSN | Outlook, Office, Skype, Bing, Breaking News, and Latest Videos
I also have trouble with the dark energy\matter issues and feel there will be a new theory that will explain the cosmos observations without needing to invoke them. Perhaps this will shed 'light' on the issue as well.

does this have any bearing on anything...
I mean really...a holographic universe ???
The Universe as a Hologram - TWM
makes as much sense as anything else I've read on here...but what do I know ???
holograms remind me of bubble membranes, same colours and swirls when viewed from different angles...
...are all bubbles made from the same stuff identical ???

I like the holographic universe theory.
