I was recently given Lee Strobel's investigative book "The Case For Christ" where he interviews theological and historical scholars searching for evidence of Christ and Christianity's legitimacy. It seems to create a pretty bullet-proof case that Jesus Christ did exist as written in the gospels and that he was indeed the son of the Christian God.
I was wondering if anybody knows of any credible work that offers a rebuttal to Strobel's findings and claims.

I would think reading the book creates its own rebuttal. I found the book simplistic, apologetic and not at all a bullet-proof read.
The Rest of the Story » Internet Infidels
Infidels does a pretty good write up of the shortcomings and Lee's not so investigative work.
