This gave me an idea. Besides bigotry, some christian fundies seem to dominate the realm of I-know-all-there-is-to-know.
So, here is a very simple electrodynamic problem. See if amateur physicists can get this. Actually, the difficulty level of this problem is a tenth that of Eta's planetary bodies problem.
Let vector A = 5i + 9j - 7k and vector B = 3i + 4j + 5k.
Find a unit vector that is perpendicular to both A and B.

Its just the cross product divided by the magnitude, if I remember correctly
something like" (7142)^-1/2(73i-42j-7k)
I am a bit sloppy with my math sometimes, so not sure if I got the numbers right.

my bad, the numbers were off a bit, cross product should look like this
: (7494)^(1/2) [73i -46j -7k]

Actually, you only need to do a cross product the 2 vectors. No need to divide by the magnitude. So, the answer is C = 73i + 46j - 7k.
Good job, by the way.

sorry, habit from 3rd semester calc, you ask for a unit vector, you get a unit vector, hence the magnitude : )
