News on regeneration
Not exactly EvC but so important I thought it should be mentioned.
Registration may be required but IMHO it's worthwhile.
We are now getting our first glimpses into what limits nerve regeneration. If this pans out and can be replicated it promises hope to many that suffer major nerve damage.

Nerve Regeneration
Hi, Jar, we just had a TV program describing successful nerve regeneration in a hopping mouse after its spinal chord was severed. With control of another blocking factor, EPHA4, the mouse started, well, hopping.

Resilin
Allied with alleviating nerve damage, scientists have developed a natural elastic protein called resilin which may be used to cushion spinal vertebra in injury victims.
